Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I always had an interest in this field. The faculty is pretty good with well-qualified teachers and the teaching method is also modern and friendly. The student ratio is decent and well enough. Passing exams depends on how much a student studies. All though the exam paper isn't very hard and one can score well if one attended lectures and studies well.
Internships Opportunities
There are in-house internships as well as internship offers provided by the faculty throughout the course. We get internships for roles in content creation, event management, public relation, advertising, marketing, and so on.
Placement Experience
There are guest lecturers by working people from the industry often. In the 3rd year, we get to choose between journalism and advertising. There is also a career conclave where different companies from different streams come to provide placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee hike policy and cost to study are considerate and justified. There are in-house internships as well as good internships offered to students. There is also financial assistance for students in need.
Campus Life
Our annual college fest is called Goonj and our BMM department fest is called Cutting Chai organized by students where they learn practically. The books are mostly available in the library and the classrooms are well equipped with modern teaching requirements like a projector. We have lots of clubs and committees to help students with practical knowledge.
Admission
Eligibility of the course was above 50% from any stream. All the details and institutions were available on the college website. The admission process was quite smooth and simple. I didn't avail of any reservation.
