Remarks

Experience of college was good. Faculty was too nice and help in any problem. But the opportunity for girls on that time was so bad. But I enjoy every moment of my college life.

Entrance Preview

I had taken admission through my b.com. marks. In my town this is the only college for masters that's why I take admission on this university. And I didn't give any interview for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The masters degree I choose is valuable for me. Not focusing on practical learning because it was based on theoretical learning.

Internships Opportunities

No I did't choose any internship from college. But I worked in a small industry for two months as a accountant. And that industry pay only 500 rs per month.

Placement Experience

On my college few company were visited the campus but not took any M.com. Students And no idea about average package and placement criteria.

College Events

No fests was organised by my college. But my college organised some sports events for girls.

Fee Structure And Facilities

On my time the fee structure was depending on your performance. And government also gave scholarship for higher studies to girls. So I didn't pay any fees.

Yes, my college provide scholarship for girls. And I avail for the scholarship. That's why my whole fees was paid by government.

Their was few extracurricular activities for girls that's why I was not involve in every sports that were held on my college.

Hostel Facilities

I hadn't taken any hostel and PG for stay. So not experience about them.

Alumni/Alumna

No, on that time college not provide any student-alumni interaction. But faculty of college told their experience about their college life.

Exam Structure

Yes, the overall day of my college was full of tired. And their was no lab in M.com. But the feeling of enjoy after exams was very nice.

Faculty

The faculty of my college was well experienced and I also interact with them to clear my all doubt regarding subjects and sports. They not teach only books, they also teach about their life experience and the standard of their teaching is too good.

My Post Graduation Journey

Likes

The main reason of choosing this college was it is onw of the best college in kanpur. The teachers are well equipped and experienced in thier respective subjects.
I was not so much engaged in social activites but sometimes i participate in debates, quizzes etc.
The faculties are PhD holders and has great expertise in their respective subjects. They will guide you at any time anywhere. You can share your personal problems also, they will help you out. Guide and mentor you in your career also.

Dislikes

One thing that i dont like was the behavior of some professor. They are lazy, they dont want to come to class. They will just say it Oh, you can do it as you are good enough and in 2 to 3 years you will be sitting with me.
Sometimes i feel like lack of regular classes i am loosing interest on accounts and Auditing
Lack of regularity, punctuality and discipline affects me a lot. That's why i don't like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason of choosing to do M.Com was i always wanted to complete my post graduation and after post graduation i want to prepare for ugc net, jrf to pursue PhD. The curriculum of this course helps me alot like it helps me to understand banking terms, norms, rules and regulations. Now i am capable enough to do business also, invest in share markets, financial securities etc. So it connects me from business, banking , and real markets . The main area where improvement is needed according to me is their teaching methods. If You are giving a real world example that's good but you have to teach its impacts , pros and cons also . Teachings styles should be changed according to me. The duration for completing exams is 3 hours and it is sufficient according to me. You can complete whole paper if you know everything. And the level of exams is also moderate.

The best thing about this university was it's culture and it's environment for which I choosed the university.
The greenery circumstances where you will feel the calmness.
There is a placement facility in my faculty of commerce but in others faculty there is nothing so.

Dislikes

There should be proper process of professor recruitment.
In my faculty, the level of education is not satisfactory. But 75℅ attendance is mandatory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I have decided to persue m. Com and trying to choose best university for it. I chooses this university because it was in top 5 rank of NIRF. To be honest some professors really work hard to train us to deal with real world but some also do their duty just because they have to draw salary. There should be a regular class otherwise they should inform before. The exam get conducted once is December or january and second is conducted in may.

THEY DONT DO FESTIVITIES ,NOTHING OUT OF THE BOX EITHER FOR SPORTS OR ANY FUNCTION

I WANTED TO CONTINUE PHD SO I OPT THIS .AND THE COURSE WAS HAVING THE SAME SUBJECTS AS THE MBA COURSE HAD . THE CURRICULUM DOES PREPAPRE US WELL . THEY GIVE US VARIOUS TASK LIKE PRESENTATION ,ROLE PLAY , PPT ETC. THAT ENHANCE OUR UNDERSTANDING OF THE CURRICULUM AND THERE IS 24*7 GUIDANCE . TEACHING METHOD DOES VARRIES FROM PROFESSOR TO PROFESSOR AND THAT IS WORTHY FOR THE STUDENT ,COURSE CURRICULUM DOES SOMETIMES FEEL VAST . THE EXAM FREQUENCY AND DIFFICULTY IS FAIR

Keeping the cost structure and ease of finding a college, I believe that my college is appropriate for students of two types. One, who want to pursue a correspondence course besides doing other professional course somewhere else. Others, who want to gain knowledge and experience of the faculty.
