Remarks

Interaction of teacher with the student is quite less that's the bad thing otherwise it is good but later means now it is pretty awesome because i have made some friends talking about education what more can you expect from teacher or professor in government college but its ok i manage it thoroughly Students are mainly in there societies based on there talents some time it feels like college life is boring but some times it is awesome

Entrance Preview

It was on cut off basis when du released its cutoff mine was in third cutoff i visited the college for the verification purpose of documents and next day the fees was paid

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have chose b. Com and it is. Really cool course u know b. Com is combination of theoretical as well as practical our internal are mainly based on practical learning as such we were given to visit some of the companies and ask for there balance sheet of last three years it was quite. Awesome

Internships Opportunities

Don't know weather it provide or not But i have seen many new people i think they must be for internship purpose only

Placement Experience

As i am the first year student so i am not much aware about the placement and visit of the companies and not aware about the packages

College Events

There were many fest organised as long as i have seen it some of the speakers visited the college and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our college and mainly my stream is the most afforadable course which any college of du can give at the begining i paid 4000 and something and for the semesters it was 920

Fees and Financial Aid

No the college did not provide any kind of loan but i am not aware about the scholarship

Campus Life

2.5

Extracurricular activities are quite awesome as we have different socities where many talented students performs and talking about me i an talented guy but shy too so i did. Not join any societies

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Neither our college provide hostel facility nor the pg i live in pg which is owned by brokers and is quite expensive which is 7000 for living and 3000 for food total 10000 excluding electricity bils

Alumni/Alumna

I did not met any alumni

Exam Structure

No the exams are not frequent( i am telling about my course b. Com) we have enough time to enjoy though alas it has chill culture

Faculty

2.5

We cannot point out fingers on the qualification of the faculties because if they are in the government college they must be gave good qualification yeah but sure we can talk about interaction the accounts faculty does mainly interact with the students but the b.com faculty in comparison to accounts is great i mean the teacher who teaches us has good interaction with students

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum around 4 out of 5. The curriculum is well structured and covers important subject related to commerce, accounting, finance, economics and business. I chose this course because is provides a strong foundationfor higher studies, competetives exam and careers in the cmmerce field

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Besides this college and DU, I had applied to Allahabad University, Banaras Hindu University and the University of Lucknow. I got admission in all of them. But I chose to attend this college solely for the Delhi University tag. The admission process for this college is the CUET. After CUET results, you have to register through Delhi University's CSAS portal and make a preference list of colleges. Cutoffs to get into the college depend upon course to course. For the course im doing - B.com (Program), the cutoff was 713-717 for Unreserved Category, 571-577 for OBC category, 463-474 for SC category and 86-103 for ST category. The overall admission experience is highly stressful and confusing....Read More
