In case of bad remarks, we didn't get any holiday during our course time, we get holiday after completion of final exams.

All in one College

Likes

The faculties are so humble and helpful .
And patients are coming from all over Odisha
The equipment are modern and this is so helpful for us and also our patients

Dislikes

The internship salary should increase than it will be vary helpful
More cultural activity should be there along with study
And needs more dental active chair and others instruments

Course Curriculum Overview:

If there is semister system exam than it will be very helpful for us ..than we will study better than now because then we will give exam two times in one subject in a year so we perform well .. and marks will be better than now

Likes

Teaching pattern and teachers are good and helpful
Lab facilities are also good
Seniors are good

Dislikes

Location but now it's developing a lot here
Food of the canteen can be better than what it is
They don't give fruits or milk for breakfast

Likes

Neat and clean campus. Staffs are friendly and helps us.
Patient flow is good. Staffs are well trained with years of experience.
Multiple cultural activities takes place. And build good bond with seniors.

Dislikes

Management doesn't conduct culturals but students conducts it.
Hostellers are asked to come to college even its rainy so much
Lot of department works are given. Learn and do otherwise no use

I chose this course because I couldn't get MBBS. But I am thankful that I chose this. The curriculum is the basic foundation for the profession. The difficulty of exams changes with the year. Each year the difficulty of exams is different for each subject.

Complete guide to SCB dental college

Likes

The faculties of dental college are highly qualified and helpful.
It is the only govt dental college in our state, so the management gives it more priority.
The hostels are attached with the college campus so it's very good for us.

Dislikes

The hospital area is not very neat and clean.
The MBBS lecture hall is around 300 meters from the dental college.
There will be a little difficulty in managing medical & dental classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BDS will be a wonderful course of u are completely into it . Because it's much more than study human biology. It is very important to understand all the practicals and clinical aspects. After completing graduation you can open your clinic or get a govt job by applying state PSC exams. But the govt should give more placements in govt sector. From 2023 we have 3 internals and 1 main university exam.

My experience in SCB dental College, Almost good except the job part!

Likes

Patient flow to the college is really high. Hence opportunity to learn the clinical aspect is best here.
Exams are really seriously conducted which helps for the better preparation
Plenty of visiting places around three college because the college is in the center of the city. Hence no boredom!

Dislikes

Faculties are mostly strict and toxic. They kinda pull legs of students a lot.
You have to buy the practical equipments a lot because college doesn't provide it.
Senior junior culture in the college is toxic too. In hostels there's a lot of ragging.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Once a year there are board exams. There are total 4 board exams in the course. Also there are 4 internal exams before each board exam. Difficulty is moderate for the theory exams but the viva part is really scary.

Good college for studying

Likes

The staff and faculty are very friendly and wise.
The proffesors are very supportive and helps all students
A lot of cultural events happen in an academic year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BDS curriculum of this college affiliated with utkal university is as per the rules of the INDIAN DENTAL COUNCIL. The syllabus and the approach of the college is well in line to easily clear all the exams on time. The practical tasks help us a lot in gaining the skills necessary to become a good dentist. 1 university exam an year and 2 internals and frequent class test and question sessions are also taken.

Review of Hi-Tech dental college

Remarks:

According to me, this college is 30% good, 70% bad. Good is all about annual function, good seniors, restaurant and shops in campus and a few good faculties. Bad is about hostel, canteen, food, freedom of girls, fine taken by teachers, extra strict teachers, too much pressure for attendance.

It is the best college for education and entertainment.

Remarks:

All positive remarks are the lectures of our faculties,their support and motivation. But I will rate negative to our management for looting parents money every year. They penalise money on being absents if you are sick and didn't come to college that day or any kind of emergency happened like creamation, tour and more. They will not listen to you and charge as much as they can. They will not listen your concern after being absent for some emergency. Only they know how to loot money in the name of Fine.

As all know Neet UG is the only exam acceptable for the admission in Hitech Dental College and Hospital. If you are selected in the ojee headquarters then you can come for the admission for which when you fill the form you have to keep HDCH as a choice . Overall exam experience was a bit hectic in ojee office as I was missing some of my documents. Good college for studying

After taking the NEET exams and qualifying, you can apply for Orissa joint entrance and after the counselling if you get the seat for the college then you can directly pay the admission fees and get admission in the course in HITEC Dental College and hospital.
