REMARKS
The collage overall is good. It has a good teaching staff altogether. Many good thing are waiting for the student their.But yes many improvement are needed to in the collage.
ENTRANCE PREVIEW
Qulified CG Pre MCA, with state rank of 15th. Opted this collage, as it is known as the top most collage of the state.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
Fee structure is again controlled by the government. So it was always in limits, & yes is was quite affordable. Nothing more can be done in terms of fee, only scholarships can be increased.
PLACEMENT WING
Frankly placement was very very poor. Despite of being a lot of good students in the batch, no one was selected by the one (yes only one real company, that was TCS). So nothing can be said about placement.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
Never used the hostel, but have heard about it. They were good to stay. Mess was so-so, could not be called all messy, but also it was not awesome.
ALUMNI
Its a so so type. I don't thing that their exists a very strong alumni network. They may contacted by emails, may be. Nothing very exiting. As per my knowledge nothing else is there.
FACULTY
Many good & quite experienced faculty member are in the collage. There was faculties to cover each & every subject of the curriculum. All the faculties were also highly qualified.
CAMPUS LIFE
Extra curricular was exciting. Labs were a bit old. Sports were great. Competitions were all around every now & then. & debates were in daily routine.
EXAM STRUCTURE
Exams were frequent, very frequent. Even before the hangover of one exam gets over, out collage used to announce the schedule of the next.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Frankly had an average curriculum, which actually need quite a lot inundation. It had a lot of almost out of date topics & requires an over all, to include the latest technologies, currently being used in the market.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
College offered both ways of doing internship, i.e. they provided up option to join a software company at Kolkata. Or we also had the option to join some company of our choice.
COLLEGE EVENTS
In terms of events our collage was very good. Every type of event is celebrated their, such sports events, cultural events, etc. Sometimes it used to seem like, we were in a collage of events.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
No, their was no such facility available at the collage as per my knowledge. May be I am wrong, as per my knowledge, no such facility was there.
