Remarks

Overall experience was a great one. Students with bright things are really welcome. Campus primices are wide and excellent.. Just go for it.

I entered XLRI through XAT. Other options available are CAT and GMAT. A good score along with a good career progression before XL has helped me to enter the prestigious college. Interviews are focused on your past achievements and future aspirations

Course Curriculum Overview

year is divided in 5 terms. First two terms had core subjects such as FInancial Accounting, Marketing, Operations, Organization Behavior etc. Third term is International immersion. Fourth and Fifth term have wide variety of electives like Managing Creativity, Merger and Acuisitions, Quaity Management,

Internships Opportunities

General stipend offered varied from as low as 10 grand a month all the way to a couple of lakhs a month. My internship experience with a company owned by a PE firm was average one

Placement Experience

Placements are very good and almost 100% of students get placed every year with at par packages. Roles come in different profiles from top firms and students have their choice to apply

Wonderful experience was open to alumni as well which made it exciting management Fest regular and allowed great industry interaction.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is expense in comparison of other MBA programs in INdia. at 25 Lakhs it is infact most expensive. However, as it is compared with other international institutes, it is one of the most cost-effctive destinations.

The loan facility is very good. Scholarships are also there. You have to meet manegement

Extracurricular activities in college are just as important as academics. It was very great here

Hostel Facilities

The rooms were generally sufficient for 1 person. The mess food was slightly above average. Breakfast was my favorite meal. In so many colleges hostel was good but food was not good but in this institution the food was so good than the other institutions. I am happy for that my parents also happy.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a rich alumni network at IIMB. There is also an alumni NW for PGSEM which is quite strong, as this course is 25+ years old. Annual alumni meets are arranged at campus, with representations from various batches, and alums are easily accessible.

Exam Structure

Exam are frequent but spaced out. Regular studies and faculty guidance ensure that it is never hectic and students get their own time. exams are as per AICTE standards and are very much in detail conceptual and application based.

Faculty are brilliant A lot of them have done quality research and the extent of independent thought is high. Also they frequently collaborate globally and in India with academia as well as industry. Standards of teaching is very high

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.
