What Students Say

Likes

Faculties are highly talented and qualified.
Library is the place where one likes to go.
Sports is no doubt very good there and the teacher is also nice.

Dislikes

place where it located as in the village so sometimes got issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

IT/CS is in the trend nowadays to choose the course which will evergreen your whole life and something which let not you sleep early or wake up late. this is called passion and my passion is coding. faculties are very much supportive here, they will teach you regularly all according to exams and also to industrial level. faculties are highly talented and qualified up to PhD or masters. term exams are all good. they are regularly taken once in six months termwise. if you will study then it's not tough to pass the exams.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 74000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of my college of BE is 74,000/- yearly. but for TFWs it's only 2000-3000 yearly. If you get a TFW seat it's best. but if you don't get still you have many chances to get the scholarship like you have MYSY and our college also provides financial support to economically weak and bright students. MYSY, college's scholarship, OBS/ST/SC scholarships.

Campus Life

4.5

There are so many clubs in my college like SSIP, AIM club, etc. tech fest are vision, lakshya, prakarsh. the library is good and the classes have also very good infrastructure. Sports is something I loved about this college. the faculty of sports is very good and SVIT is famous for sports. visit LinkedIn for the AIM club.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is not provided by the college. but you can find PG or private hostels nearby. the place is quite decent but not a city area so it might be difficult sometimes. but you can go to PG and a hostel at Anand or Vadodara. many students come to Vadodara and Anand and nearby areas.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

I got admission through ACPC which considers my GUJCET score plus 12th boards result. It declares 4 rounds. first one is mock just for trial, and than3 rounds to get admission into your desired college. you will get the ACPC website on Google. tick mark TFWs if you want to get placed on government seats at private colleges.

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
