Remarks

The principle of this college is pathetic. Students are even charged for parking in college campus. Canteen is average.

Entrance Preview

I had given JEE mains for admission . This college was given to me from my preference list of colleges. I was always determind to take mechanical engineering, so i have choosen that course for my BE.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Some of the faculty members are nice but most of the others are torturing. They only give tonnes of assignments which are unneccesory. Practicle approach of college is near to zero. The writing assignments given are much more than that of given in other colleges. Festivals celebrated here are also lacklustre.

Internships Opportunities

College never provide internshil. Even they don't allow students to do internship above 15 days. Asking for internship is like asking for their kidney.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placement scenario is better for IT and Computer branch. While for mechanical the scenario is horrible. Infosys, Accenture are some of the companies visited to college.

College Events

1.5

There is only one technical event called m-pulse and one cultural event . The technical event is only of 2 days and cultural event is only of 1 day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Open candidate has to pay nearly 1 lakhs for one year. This college definitly is not giving fascilities to match fees of 1 lakh. They even charge for parking in college campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available as per gaiven by the government. College gives all infirmation about them .

Campus Life

1.5

There are many teams for different extra curricular events . But the support to them from college is much less.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

This college don't have hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

College never conduct any event for such interaction. This should be chanched. Alumnis should be invited to college.

Exam Structure

Exams are conducted regularly. In labs, some of the equipments are not working.

Faculty

1.5

Very few teachers are experienced. Others are just newbies. Experienced faculty is amazing in teaching. But others don't even know how to teach. Some of the teachers are cooperative while others only try torture students. Overall teaching standard is average. All the teachers give enough assignments at the end of semester to kill the productive time of students. Means everyone will try to torture you at the end of the semester. The exoerienced faculty members are experts in their subject. While the newbies don't even know how to explain a topic . The staff is not so supportive. The hods are also not supportive. No teachers supports extra curiculer activities. Everyone is sticked to theoretical part only. The festivals celebrated here are also of only 2-3 days. The submission time is the most horrible time of student's life in this college.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
