Course Curriculum Overview
As there are a lot of opportunities in the cs domain so it will be easy to explore yourself, In pmec there is a 1:50 faculty and students are available to make a good study and encouragement environment. Most of the faculty have done master's in reputed colleges like IIT and NIT. They have so friendly to us. I especially want to tell one faculty that if you need to explore yourself in mathematics then you must console to this sir P.C Biswa sir (IISC BLR). There are two internal in each semester exam it is quite easy to pass you just need to focus on your classroom studies.
Internships Opportunities
A company like apmosys provides internship opportunities to students with a stipend and you will get hands-on experience with project work with the company employees. After completion of the internship, you may get offer the ppo based on our work. You can do various projects like Frontend and backend in your internship period.
Placement Experience
As per the basic criteria 7th semester onwards students go for placement drives and offline internships, You can do ur part-time jobs and work via virtual mode before the 7th sem. Companies like Consultants and service base visited the most and they also do bulk hire in cs domain students. If You need a good package then you must try off-campus. In-campus is good for 3-6 lpa package placements for students. In this year 2023, most of the cs students get placed in various service companies like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is Government aided institute so its fees are not too much than the other one, You need to pay the avg. 33000 each year and for hostel 38000 avg. per year. You also get a scholarship in the state government portal in different schemes like state scholarship, Kalia scholarship, and many more. You can manage your fees.
Campus Life
Tech Fest and branch Fest celebrates every year by students you can explore yourself in various events. There are two libraries available one is the central library and another reference library with free wifi and AC available. It is the most peaceful place for the tech enthusiast. Classrooms are well equipped with wifi and LCD for smooth learning. You can join the NSS and NCC in your leisure time to get refreshments, Sports like Kabadi, Badminton, and Cricket accessories are available for play. There are so many clubs here for refreshments and to explore yourself, clubs like a Shadow for photography and Cadence for dance, etc.
Admission
PMEC provides BTech and MTech courses to the students, for BTech the eligibility is +2 passed along with JEE Main scorecard. It depends on the score of jee main for the branch allocation However, an overall 50 percentile is required to get admission in this b tech course. In the CSE branch, you need 80 percentile above to get a seat in this course. It also has lateral entry facilities for the students who get admission after their diploma. To enroll in the undergraduate course you have to appear in the Jee main entrance exam, then you have to register yourself on the Ojee site. Ojee makes the counseling process for admission. You need to deposit 10,000 for the counseling. If you don't get any seats then you will return ur 10,000 money else you will get admission to the college. Then you have to pay the rest 20,500 amount to the college while your document verification will do. Reservation based on the caste category or Ex-serviceman also has a reservation quota.
