Course Curriculum Overview
The course and syllabus of Biju Patnaik university of Technology, Rourkela are strictly followed here. All Faculty members are professors or assistance professors. The classroom and lab environment is good. You have to face two internal in a semester.
Internships Opportunities
I have taken admission last year to this para la maharaja engineering college. So I do have not so much idea about the internship offered. But I have heard that seniors get a chance to work with various private and government institutions.
Placement Experience
Every year a maximum number of students got placed in various companies but it is true that the package is less. Approximately sixty percent of students are getting placed. As the package is low many students prefer off-campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic fees are approximately 30-34 thousand. And hostel fee structure is around 30 thousand. Various clubs are there and you can learn and work in the club also get the opportunity to enhance your knowledge. Every year various companies like -TATA POWER. IBM, COGNIGENT, WIPRO, etc.
Campus Life
There is a central Library in the college. All required books for an engineering student are available there. Also in library there is place for study for the students. In college block a reference Hall is there which opens at 10 am and close at 9 pm.
Admission
Anyone can take admission through jee the main rank. The admission process is offline. One has to come to college for admission as per the date noticed by the college. Required admission fees are deposited online in sbicollect. The college will provide you with the collect link for payment. A minimum of 2 lakh rank is required to get a seat in cse branch.
