Likes

All the classmates and seniors are very good.
The Faculties are very helping and supporting.

Dislikes

Transportation issues as it is located in the outskirts of Brahmapur City
The Mess Food is very bad and unhygienic
It's very hard to attend classes during the summer season

Course Curriculum Overview

I now get to know that this is a very excellent course. At the start, I was also trying for the CSE branch like all other aspirants but later I got to know that this branch is far better. It is a combination of the CSE and EE branches. The faculties of the ETC branch in our college are the most strict when it comes to studies but on the other hand, they are excellent mentors also.

Internships Opportunities

You can have an internship by appearing in exams through which you will qualify for the internships. You can either do internships in different private companies or farms like TCS, Wipro, etc. You can even try for internships in Government Jobs.

Placement Experience

We get a lot of offers from many different MNCs and a lot of opportunities for government internships too. The package ranges from 1,25,000 to 3,00,000 per annum. The average package is 2,50,000. We even get opportunities to work as interns in MNCs too.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is for hostellers you have to give a protection money of 30,000. Apart from that you have to pay a mess bill of 15000-18000 every 6 months. And you also have to pay the course fee which is 1500 for odd sems and 24000 for even sems.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is very good you even have lifts in hostels too. And the Hostels are well built clean and Good. We also have a special gym inside the hostel for boys and an open gym in the playground. We even have a very big central library which is as big as our academic Building

Hostel Facilities

You have to give a protection money of 30,000 which will be returned to you after you get your degree and money will be deducted from it if any damage is caused by you. You have to pay a mess bill of 15000-18000

I took the JEE exam to get selected for this exam. I first appeared for JEE mains in which I scored acceptable marks and got a rank of 3,04,007 then I filled out the OJEE form from the OJEE site and appeared for the counselling process through which I got this college

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

I applied for this college and I got confirmation for admission from this college . I choose this college over other colleges because as per my jee ranks this college was best . Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. Overview of PMEC

No I don't apply any other colleges my first preference is this college which I got admission. I choose this college because it's nearby my home town and the low price of fees structure.
