What Students Say

Likes

open campus is really convenient for students for working on projects etc
No ragging culture, Ragging culture is highly demotivated in campus with students also getting punished
very nice placement and internships , with good packages

Dislikes

sometimes, holidays are not provided for festivals although they are celebrated very vibrantly on campus

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this course because of the college, I have heard many good things about this college and, Mining engineering is one of the oldest departments of this college. The term exams sometimes had a variation of 1 or 2 days. Overall, they were on time. It was relatively easy to pass but hard to score good marks.

Class Size: 127Course Fees: INR 212700 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Several companies like ITC come for internships with students getting as much as 4.5 Lakhs in sales, Product Management, SWE etc To get an internship we need to have a strong portfolio in the fields we want to work, we are also provided with foreign research opportunities through Mitacs

Placement Experience

4.5

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies such as ITC, PnG, American Express etc. visit the college with almost all of the students getting placed. My plan after getting my degree is to start my own startup

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty nice according to the services we students are provided with. SC/ST/OBC students are provided with massive scholarships and several scholarship schemes are also provided by the UP government. The cost to study in general is around 10-12 lakhs. I got no scholarship, Financial Assistance or Job

Campus Life

4.5

Life on campus is very vibrant and engaging, there is always something interesting to do or somewhere to go. Annual fest Kashiyatra(December-January) Tech fest-Technex(March) All course books are available in the library for issue for a period of 2-3 months. Several paid online journals are also made available to students. Special emphasis is also put on sports. We have a very nice activity centre for students called SAC which has all the top-class sports facilities. A sports event called spardha is also held every year. A lot of clubs are run by students like-Music club,Fine arts club, bussines club, Model United Nations, Book Club

Admission

For eligibility for my course, you must have a rank of 11k for the general category in advance. After the release of jee advanced results, a counselling portal was made on the josaa website which fees are comparatively less than other counselling programs. Not availed of any reservation benefits students must be informed more about the college of their choice from the website itself. A better and more clear UI must also be made for the website

Other Applied Colleges

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it. Now I tell u about my admission process all the students alloted a date to submit documents and for hostel verification . Then on that day the allot us hostel room to stay. Then all students of different branches alloted different places to go and submit documents we go there and submit documents after a rush. Then they give us college id card with college stamp.
