Course Curriculum Overview

I leaned towards this course particularly because I researched prior to application about the benefits of the role biotech and biochemical engineers play in the modern developing world specifically in the research and development field. for every 70 students, there are about 9 teachers. Every faculty at SCTCE is highly qualified and effective communicators with definite experience to back them up! The term exams are held periodically every 6 months and are generally fair if and only if the student is willing to input the effort!

Class Size: 57Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement from the end of 5th semester Deloitte, Tata Elxsi, SADA, and Accubits are a few of many companies that come into our institution. Out of every appearing student, 85% percent are hired for their professional qualifications with an average LPA of 5. I heartily welcome anyone to try out this course and college from the experience of a graduate.

Fees and Financial Aid

During the entire duration of my engagement in this course, I was charged an academic fee of 1.4 L or 35K/Yr with additional payments mounting up to 25K (approx.). However, I was financially supported by the NSP Scholarship Program which pays about 25K/Yr which is about 71%.

Campus Life

Our Annual College fest is titled "Cult A Way" which is usually scheduled for the month of June and it is one of the best memories to linger from the course period that resonates with your internal morals. We also provide Tech Fest along with celebrating sports, arts, cultural, and empowering aspects! The libraries are equipped with books from all categories with Academically focused possessing the domination. Classrooms are equipped with surveillance cameras and it is equipped with projectors, screens, and every other amenities provided by any other professional college. There are many clubs to be listed out, but the ones that flow primarily to the mind are the Literary club, the Sports club, and the film club. There are many other social groups such as fitness clubs, fashion club, astronomy club, et cetera.

Admission

I attended KEAM and scored a rank of around 14.5 K., I was eager to select this course as I loved biology as well as technology. cutoffs around 20k rank in the KEAM exam, the application form was directly via The KEAM portal for merit, management seats. Details for the NRI Quota seats are available on the SCTCE website, which includes all other details including application review dates, spot admission dates, et cetera! Application fees would be around 1 K.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

college provides nice venue good study environment

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

From the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. So many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Gst Global, etc. are visited for placements. These companies provide placement for all the branches of the college. 90 percent of the students get placements. I prefer to go for higher studies after getting the degree.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
