Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this bca course because in future computer application will be very demanding in the market. Faculty and students are rational is - 250:10000. Most of the faculty have PhD degrees. The way of teaching is very good if attending daily class then you don't need to study at home. There are 12 internals and 6-semester exams in BCA. Exams are not too hard if you are attending daily classes.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In our university, 100 percent internship is provided. Every student gets an internship. Many companies visited our university - Tata AIG, Mahindra, ICICI Bank, Bandhan Bank, kyb, jio, etc. Many projects are made by students of our university and if the projects are good then the university gives them a chance to represent their project at the shark tank.

Fees and Financial Aid

University fees are affordable for everyone. The total course fee is 1 lakh 95 thousand (195000). This university has its own scholarship for students and the faculties also help to provide all the national and state scholarship to the students who are eligible.

Campus Life

The campus is big and everywhere is a green environment. University organizes many rests - our annual fest name is "ALAP". University organize freshers party and many programs organized by our university like rakhi etc. The university has a library. Our university organises annual sports every year. There is a page on Facebook of Swami Vivekananda University. Our university has NSS which is a group run by faculties and students.

Admission

The admission process is very simple. Eligibility of BCA course - 10+2 pass students with any stream can apply for this course. You can apply from this website or the swami vivekananda University's official website. The admission process is very simple no need for improvement.

From fifth or 6 semester is present become eligible for campus placement. There is no company visited in our college. The highest package of our college is 32 LPA and the average package of our college is 4LPA. 82.7% MCA

My IEM

Likes

Discipline. The discipline there is the mainstay behind their academic and professional success of the students.
Academic Pressure. The healthy pressure given in academics was the major reason why I came out with flying colours.
College life. The college culture was nice, and we, the students really enjoyed ourselves by making friendships and bonds.

Dislikes

Authoritarianism. The institute survives on Authoritarianism, and whatever was said by the faculty was like an edict for us.
Selective Preference(Sometimes) of students. The placement cell is headed by a person who only allows his favored students to appear for the good jobs.
Strictness. It is very strict, and not even the basic amounts of freedom are allowed in the college, everyone has to follow a certain standard.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Likes

Supportive faculty - Helpful and friendly teachers
Great canteen - A favorite Spot for students
Safe atmosphere - No ragging, ensuring a positive environment

Dislikes

distance issues - 5-7 minutes walk from the station
Lack of eateries - No restaurants or cafes nearby
No direct private vehicles available; they are available only on extra payment

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Likes

Practical exposure to learning, good internship opportunities, exposure to trained industry professionals
Well-equipped labs and training/learning facilities
Sustainable infrastructure and campus design

Dislikes

Limited library resources and heavy dependency on e-books, with a mismanaged book rental system
There are some blocks which need better connectivity features, frequent jamming occurs there

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internhips from 4th sem onwards, provided they have no backlogs and are well equipped for skills demanded by companies. The college provides good internships and job placements in reputable companies such as TCS, Wipro, Amazon etc,.[for computer science departement] with an average package of 3.5 LPA. The college has achieved a well rounded record of 100% placements[T&Cs applied] for 3 consecutive batches now[2019-22, 2020-23, 2021-24].

A good university if you work hard

First of all the why I chose this college over another colleges because I had not applied for any other college , I have tried to get admission in Aligarh University, but I'm unable to join that university because of their entrance exam which is very tough to clear and also a language problem that is You need to fluently speak Urdu to clear the entrance exam , that's why I'm unable to enroll that university so I have join this university on the based of it's infrastructure and less fees for the admission than the other engineering Universities .To join this university I had just filled up a form to get admitted to this university, there is no entrance exam to get admission . I have paid around 10000 rupees for the admission fees upfront and later after my admission I have to paid about 33000 rupees as admission charge and 28000 rs as my first semester payment .
