chandigarhuniversity provide a best place to learn and explore. The teaching is very good there. Infrastructure is well mainatined.

when i get admission there is no specific entarnce exam. i got admission on the basis of my marrks in 12th. but now CU organises their own admission test CUSAT qualified students get scholarship as acoording to the norms.

department of pharma sciences follow the curriculum as decided under the norms of PCI. Curriculum is divided into 8 semester. last semester also have research project work. Guest lectures and special seminars are organised in every semester. the core subjects include pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and pgarmacognosy. There is provision of an open elective subject in fifth sem and subject elective in 7th and 8th sem

University may or may not provide intership. but department of pharma sciences help students in providing training during summer at pharma industries.

University has a special division of placement. In the recent placement for pharma student, approx all the student got placed in various MNC and pharmaceutical industries such as root analysis. IDS infotech. Spinco biotech. Wockhart ltd. and many others in various department such as sales, marketing, production, QA and QC. the maximun package of recent placement in pharma is 4.3 LPA followed by 3.2 LPA

the university organizes various events such as CUFEST, TECH INVENT, INNOVATION DAY SCIENCE DAY and so on. tech invent is a national level technical event which consists of various events that generally help in student to learn to explore more. Innovation dag event helps us to focus on innovation and novel research.

Fee has to be paid half yearly. fees is quite expensive. it is around 55000 es. when i get admission.but now the fee is around 75000rs per sem. tution fee for our batch is around 33000 rs per sem while there are other charges for laboratory, computers and development fund.everyone has ti pay extra 1000 rs as examination fee. every year 500 rs will be charged for CUFEST.

university provide scholarships of merit basis and,income basis. there is special provision of scholarship for single girl child,ward of army persons .it is very easy to avail loan for study via different banks and through university.

The campus is so big. consist of 12 giant academic blocks. around 15 hostels, a separate area for sports, various parks for recreation. there are various food joints in the campus which provide tasty and healthy food at ve rg reasonable rate. there is a stationery shop in every department. There is proper parking facility for vehicles in the side and outside the campus. the security is very effective in a campus with cctv camera in the campus

Hostels are on the sharing basis of 3 or 4. Hostel rooms are well equipped with lights, fans. almirah. study table, chairs, bed and air cooler. the mess food is quite tasty. Hostels are provided with 24*7 electricity, water alonv with wifi. there ard various food joints and tuck shops in Hostels as well. There is separate hostel for boys and girls.the hostel also consist of gym facility for students.

we are the first batch in our department so has a less experience witb our college senior.But in othet department alummi meet are organised annually.Seniors help volunteery to their JUNIORS when they need helo

University arranges sem end exam in the month of may and dec. Sem end exam are of 60 marks where as internal 40 marks consist of 2 mid sem exam, assignment, quiz, surprise test and seminar. final practical exam consit of 40 marks and 60 internal marks include 2 mid exams of 15 marks and marks of routine practicals.

I just register my self online through admission portal at university official website then i visited admission cell at CU submit all the documents and after verification if documnets i got a seat in B pharmacy and then i pay the fees.But now the admission procedure has been changed.one get admission at CU only through merit basis or after qualifying CUSAT.CUSAT qualified student will gel scholarship as per the university norms.

Department of Pharma sciences consist of Phd and post graduate staff. there are many fasulty member whi are persuing their PhD.Faculty has the vast knowledge of their specific field. Teaching and non teaching staff both ate very cooperative and helpful. Teachers provide extar notes to students.
