Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

My course is electronics and computer science which is a new course I choosed it because it is a hybrid of cs and electronics faculty is good but most of them are very strict as they are seniors The faculty to student ratio is good u won't feel in problem in approaching the faculty most of them are PhD holders or have master's in there respective field There are 3 insem exams and 2 end sems they are very easy to pass as the college will give you the question bank so it would be very easy for u

Internships Opportunities

2

There is very less internship availablity mostly they come in final year so it is not a good clg for internship so pls don't apply this college if u want a good internship mostly the stipend are not above 10k a month

Placement Experience

4

Still imant available for placement but the placement is excellent with avg of 8l.p.a and highest of 44 lpa mostly everyone who sits for placement gets place so there is no issue for placement if u wanna get placed after your ug

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees increase by 1k per year and it will cost you if u study in thakur college it is expensive You can avail caste scholarship like obc .sc .st And tfws they mostly don't provide u with internship

Campus Life

3.5

There are many fest not conducted in any specific month library and labs are filled with books classes have projectors and AC nothing else but there is no need of anyting else so the infrastructure is one of the best in Mumbai I must say Sports and esports event are taken seriously in college Rctcet is the biggest club from college other are tspark tcap

Hostel Facilities

4

There are 3 hostel they cost 4500,6500,9000, per month without any electricity bill but the 4500 one is too bad the other too are very good but are too expensive meal is also good the is easy and sarova and aangan are two good pg buildings

Admission

Eligibility of the the college is from mhtcet and jee mains where u need to score above 93 percentile if u Target any branch related to cs If u get percentile above 93 to 96 u can get tfws scholarship and your fees will be reduced to 28k where as general fee is 160000. You can also get SC st scholarship and at the same fee of 28k The admission process is very hectic you have to submit lots of forms and hence it becomes very clumsy

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
