What Students Say

Likes

I liked that college is outside of down and it helps to better study.
College environment and their facilities.
Different different block for their departments

Dislikes

According to my branch their is no facilities to do any practical

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I chose this because this is the main degree course that is taken as a higher education. Yeah, all faculties are good and their teaching also. For teaching there are so many faculties to their different different subjects. Every semester there will be an exam conducted that is the main exam we will call external. Before external we have an internal exam.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 30500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study is according to by semester. In 1st semester you have to pay full payment. Like (20k) and 2nd semester will be 1700rs. Our scholarship name is Prerana and financial assistance is tequb cell. I am not doing any job.

Campus Life

As the college is Bachelor Technology our annual fest name is Tech-fest by subfix by current year. The tech fest is conducted in the month of March or April. Yeah, we have a library with all books and journals. There is sport and some competition like drawing, treasure hunt, etc.

Admission

To be eligible for the course you have to pass in 12th standard and if you have a diploma there is a lateral entry there. I applied to a computer zone at different colleges according to my interests. The main thing is according to your list of colleges and list of interests or branches that will be selected by the colleges. Application fees are just for papers they charge 100rs for submission. Reservation benefits depend on the college seats that you applied for in your branch. The improvement is only if it is conducted in online document submission.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

"PMEC: Nurturing Future Engineers Through Innovation and Excellence"

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. The exam dates are frequent and are mentioned in the academic calendar....Read More
