I choose this course becaus theres a future growth in horticulture sector.considering student faculty ratio there are 2 batches in my college the strength was 180 . phd and msc are the qualifications of faculty

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Name of scholarship are 2 types one is jaganaana vidyadeevena and other one is jaganaana vasathi deevena. There are no campus placements in my college .i got stipend through elp and rhwep courses thats enough

Campus Life

Most of the books are available in my college library like jrf books and aptitude reasoning books. We have english clubs and hindi clubs which are run by students .end of the year sports meet will conduct

Hostel Facilities

Coming to room facilities its good .there are 3 floors are there each floor has 20 rooms. Considering the mess .. i never saw such type of mess out of 7 days 3 days have chicken .for rent purpose venkataramanagudem villaage is there

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

There is no improvement in admission process when i started my college. I got jagaanna vidyadeevena and vasathideevena around 38000 per annum. It helpful for undercaste students like sc st obc. Thats enough

Likes

Practical knowledge has more preferable than the theory
The equipment required for all labs are available
The management also show care about the students a lot

Dislikes

The faculty doesn't treat the students well and the show grudges on students
The duration has been decreasing and the syllabus have been completed within a short time.
They don't ask the students what's going on the campus where the students are suffering a lot which have to identify by the management by conducting meetings

Course Curriculum Overview:

There should be more classes in the practical than in the theory. students are only studying and forgetting because they only study but if they practically learn they will remember so the theory should be reduced and practical should be increased.there should be 20 days for mid exams and nearly 40 days for practice and sem final exams nearly 2 months are only for exams.

College isn't all fun and games but most Important

Placement Experience:

Actually, placements are good but due to corona, there was a decline in the placements. The highest package is from GPI a tobacco company which is a 4 lakhs package. There are very less percentage of students who are willing to go for a job as many students go for higher studies

Placement Experience:

There are so many placements in my college for BSc students and for microbiology students. The percentage is 75 to got a placement offer.

College- Past and Future

Remarks:

Being newly established college there are certainly few problems in which the management has overcome but still there are problems related to farm and practical classes. There must be improvement in the mess.

Remarks:

I tried to get MBBS seat but my marks are enough to get MBBS seat in medical College so i opted for agriculture course. If i have money about 70 lakhs I would able to purchase the medical seat in college seat in any of college nearer to my home.

Remarks:

The buildings are very old. They are built in the 1900's.the classroom are well equipped with projects, fans, light etc but the boarding facikity can be greatly improved. New buildings need to be built.

Remarks:

Good clean and green atmosphere but as the construction of new buildings such as main building and central instrumentation cell ,etc is going on it takes about an year to see the campus.
