Likes

Sports opportunities are very amazing. Also very less competition.
Faculties are very good and also supportive and easy to communicate.
Fees is pocket friendly compared to other colleges in delhi or any other places.

Dislikes

No placement offered. Student have to go for off campus placements.
Lab computers are very slow and old. Some of them are not working properly.
BCA is offered in another campus of Guru Nanak College. Our main campus is far from the BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview

I joined this course because of market demand and also have interest in computers. Faculty: Student = 60:7 Supportive faculty also councelling about our future. Most of the teacher uses projector and smart classes. Exam is easy compared to Btech CSE. 4-5 years previous year question papers are provided. If you only study the pyq then you can get upto 7.0 sgpa in exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 15000 per semester. E-KALYAN scholarship is provided to whose who have - residential certificate of jharkhand, EWS certificate and belongs to obc/st/sc. They will get around 42000 per year in their bank account.

Campus Life

They provide IIT BOMBAY SPOKEN TUTORIAL PROGRAM. Library is also available. Excellent opportunity for sports person. More than 30 sports are available to participate in inter college tournaments. There is very less competition. So you will easily get into University team and go for East Zone Inter-Unvirsity Tournaments.

Addmission based on 12th percentage Cut off in 1st round- around 72% Cut off in last round- 42% to 50% Eligibility- passed 10+2 examinations or Intermediate or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate in any discipline (Arts/Commerce/Science) with mathematics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practices(I.P.)/Information technology (IT)/Statistics as one of the subjects. Application form,fees and dates are available on BBMKU website and Chancellor Portal website Reservation Benefits- You can get E-kalyan scholarship if you have residence certificate of jharkhand, EWS certificate, and belongs to obc/st/sc. Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Good college good faculty

Remarks:

All the staffs including gatekeeper or cleaning staffs are vert friendly and helpful. Once i entered the college first time i was bit confused about going to principal office but one of the gatekeeper came to me and he shows me thepath very politely. I love my college everything is very good in the college.

Remarks:

University is good in all forms from fresher's to farewell but to some extent it lacks in placement as you have to really work hard if you want to get into a named company. Else it is good in providing knowledge, sorting out the problems and many more.
