Remarks

College management is strict when it comws to dicipline and all they are monitoring very activities of the student they are keen observers of individuals. They never forgive if a student is going in a wrong path istead of studying PTA is working well and

Entrance Preview

I took the KEAM entrance and scored a rank of 14000 and i opt this college because it was near from my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum is one of the finest in our diatrict ernakulam and faculties are well educated and phd holders from IIT madras and vaires iits all over the country and academics are well taught in a detailed manner and the lecture notes are even admired by the students from near by colleges.

Placement Experience

4.5

Pplacement drive usually takes place two times a year and famous companies like infosys, wipro, microsoft even once google came and one of our mtech student got a salary package of rupees one crore and above from the placement. lots of big shots from the it and construction field come to our college and grab lots of students for them.

Fees and Financial Aid

MCM scholorship, post metric scholorship and lots of other scholorships are there for students and office people do lots of help in understanding more about scholorships and making them eligible for the scholorship. I get MCM scholorship of about 25000 during last 4 years. There are other students who is getting central sector sholorship and all.

Campus Life

Campus life was hectic during the first two years and when we become seniors our life became more colourful and we are very happy to see that this campus made our life very colourful still i love my college and i miss it so much. I really wanna go back to my college which made my life secure politics no no there is no place for politics here. I should say in thid college cristians are more and there is no equality for the seats in management they tale more cristian students than muslims or hindus hindus and muslims are countable for each batch i rarely see them that is one thing i hate most.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel fees and mess food are top when compared to other colleges because i have a friend who is from near by colleges and i heard them complaining about the food they get. But i should say we have the top infrastructure for hostel mess and food we get is

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

We have a great time with our seniors and management do a lots of works to create an alumni network inside the college. They welcomes our alumnis and they allow us to interact with our juniors as well as seniors and i feel like alumni interaction is well managed here.

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
