What Students Say

Likes

Campus is very lively during the day. There are many activities throughout the year
The fests are very grand and always witness presence of huge personalities
Good peer group is found in the college for whatever you are interested in

Dislikes

Very few eateries compared to other IITs
For 1st year there is an in time of 10 pm

Course Curriculum Overview

This was the best course available at my rank in this college. The faculty members are very qualified and teach very well but honestly most of the academics here depend on self studies and also on practical learning

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees generally is about 200000 per annum but if you come under reserved classes the fees cuts down drastically. It will be around 40000 including hostel and mess. Facilities for education loan is also easily satisfied

Campus Life

3.5

Kashiyatra is the annual cultural fest held in January and the techno management fest is technex and is held in March every year. The campus is very lively in these days but usually on regular the complete campus shuts down at 7.00 pm But there are many social clubs which provide great learning opportunities for students and they have their own events through out the year

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is available for all the students living is the campus. Overall infrastructure is quite old fashioned but the new hostels being made are very posh. All the hostels also have their own mess facility

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

Admission was through JEE advanced. This exam is very tough to crack and can be opted after class 12 for at most 2 years. And if you belong to any of the reserved classes you do get reservation benefits

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

In terms of placement IIT bhu rank is now 2 after IIT kanpur that's one of the reason to choose it. Now I tell u about my admission process all the students alloted a date to submit documents and for hostel verification . Then on that day the allot us hostel room to stay. Then all students of different branches alloted different places to go and submit documents we go there and submit documents after a rush. Then they give us college id card with college stamp.
