Remarks

College provided great platform for students but need to work more. Our college has every thing that a student wants to have in college related to academic. The societies of college are great and highly active. The canteen is fully hygienic and provides great quality of food at cheaper rates.

I landed up in this college because of the cut off which matches my best four. No there is no interview process followed. I belong to commerce stream so that made me to opt b.com.

The course is great, it provides different subjects in each semester which helps to learn things related to commerce.

Not official internship has been provided till now.

Placement Experience

Placement cells comes in third year so i have no idea regarding that as I'm in II year. But i have heard the big companies do visit our college

College Events

Last year our college organized a great event as our college completed 50 years of glory. It was great. After that fresher's party was held within the premises of the college which was okay okay. Then comes the fest in which different artist visited the college and was held in the ground of our College. The security is really tight during events and every authorities do their duties to manage the event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is around 8,000 per annum. As the fess changes every year because in every year we have a choice between subjects. So practical subjects cost more. And if someone has a back in 1st year so there is a cost for giving that paper again. So overall fee structure is very much affordable by the student.

Campus Life

College has been remarkable, recently our college dramatics Society Sang harsh has won II position in the Antaragini event held in Kanpur in which all the colleges of DU participated.

Hostel Facilities

There are PGs around the college which are not authorized by college as college does not have any hostel. In PGs, they have sharing rooms and they cost around 10k per month. Food Quality of PGs vary from PG to PG

Faculty

The teachers are highly experienced and they interact with students very much. It doesn't matter whether she will teach 1 question or 2. Their main focus is to interact with students and to teach them properly.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

From admission to reality.

I choosed HNBGU first but it is in srinagar Uttarakhand that why my parents are not ready to send me there . I choosed this college because It is the best evening college in the Delhi University.
