My IEM

Likes

Discipline. The discipline there is the mainstay behind their academic and professional success of the students.
Academic Pressure. The healthy pressure given in academics was the major reason why I came out with flying colours.
College life. The college culture was nice, and we, the students really enjoyed ourselves by making friendships and bonds.

Dislikes

Authoritarianism. The institute survives on Authoritarianism, and whatever was said by the faculty was like an edict for us.
Selective Preference(Sometimes) of students. The placement cell is headed by a person who only allows his favored students to appear for the good jobs.
Strictness. It is very strict, and not even the basic amounts of freedom are allowed in the college, everyone has to follow a certain standard.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Good College

Likes

Supportive faculty - Helpful and friendly teachers
Great canteen - A favorite Spot for students
Safe atmosphere - No ragging, ensuring a positive environment

Dislikes

distance issues - 5-7 minutes walk from the station
Lack of eateries - No restaurants or cafes nearby
No direct private vehicles available; they are available only on extra payment

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Ilead a way of life in campus

Well, I didn't apply to any other colleges because it was not necessary and there are not many colleges in kolkata for interior designing, and that also this good. They are a more all hands on deck college. Over all experience was very good, and easy regarding admission. They gave us and helped us to fill the form. The form was available in online and offline mode for student's convenience. Even the payment was available in both ways for easy and safe payment....Read More

My honest review for iLEAD college as a student

Admission process at Ilead is easy. Just call on the given number of website or fill up the form in the website. Then your councilor will connect with you & he/she will ask you for visiting the college and then while visiting the college you can take admission right there. You will be asked to have an interview for getting the scholarship. If you are eligible you will get the scholarship up to rs 50,000/- Usually the admission process runs from March to August month of every year. It's already very advanced process so I don't think that there need any improvement in admission process....Read More
