Likes

Got many friends and have a very good vibe
Many fest and co caricuculqr activities are there
College provide many facilities and have a very reasonable price

Dislikes

Faculties are not that good as expected and very rude
Placements are not that good and condition
Hostel facilities are very poor very bad food

Course Curriculum Overview

Seriously i was moving forward toward ai and this was very good branch to proceed in my aim faculty is good but not that much some are very nice where are some are very strict . It depends upon you how will you perform in the exams

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 108000 per year

Placement Experience

Mainly the students are eligible for the placements according to their cgpas they need to secure above 6 cgpa to sit in the placements. The placements are not as good as expected but still can be manageable

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year, the course fee was 118000 whereas after the 1st year, the fee will be 108000. There are many scholarship facilities available to which you can apply and can get scholarships according to your eligibility criteria

Campus Life

There are many kinds of fest like a tech fest, trifect and many more events where you can get many opportunities to show your talent and win exciting prizes. The class rooms have projectors and all it has a library where you can get your required books etc

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities were not as good as expected. Food quality is average. Everything always tastes the same and some days they provide nice food and some time there is also a shortage of food And also near this area, it is very hard to find any PGs or rooms as either there is less availability or the prices are too high

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

Admission

Mainly I qualified for it through jee mains i had cleared the mains then got admitted to the college. There were very less sits in our branch and very had to get it so to get admitted you need to prepare for jee mains

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

From sixth semester you are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Tata power, Adani, OPTCL and others.The highest package for electrical engineering is 10 lacs. 60percent marks is required for getting placement.

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

MY MCA JOURNEY IN TRIDENT ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY, BBSR

Inside Trident Academy of Technology: A Student's Perspective

The admission process was a little bit easy. All we have to do is book a seat their in advance by giving 20k (refundable) or just by applying the counseling. Yes it has reservation benefits. Sc/St can get the seat even if they secured low marks than general. The time gap between one to another semester exam is approximately 4 months. And yes the exams are a little bit difficult as it is being held by BPUT not by our own college. The admission process is already great but one thing is the administrative officers are big manipulators.
