I like the college campus,our class rooms , laboratories.
I like our hostel facility,rooms, garden facilities.

Dislikes

It's a developing college.but the development process is slow.
They should add more efforts for these things.
Slow development is only cause of dislike and nothing else.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is very good and the faculty members are very cooperative. They help students in studies and in every possible ways. i choose cse branch because it's well demanding. The strength of our branch is 246. Examination are strictly managed.The faculty are PhD qualified.

Internships Opportunities

Companies like TCS Infosys Capgemini have came for campus placement.But now as we are 3rd sem students so till now we haven't recieved any internships.But will recieve soon.we has hackathon projects in our college.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements.Tcs , Infosys,Airtel,jio and some other companies visited and approximately 20 offers made.percentage of students getting placement is 70 percentage.my plan is to be a software developer after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total course fee of our college is RS/-110000.we give RS/-45000 per semister which is RS/- 90000 per year.RS/-20000 is the mentainance of our college education.RS/-84000 is the hostel fee per year.we apply scholarship like e medhabruti on odisha government portal .

Campus Life

The name of our annual fest is Trifest and Technical fest is Techfest it takes place in january.we get books of every author in our Library.there are other activities like tpl that is trident premier Li and dancing competition arranged by clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is very good.food is good there is changes in menu after 1 month .room facilities are very good we have sufficient space in our rooms .it's affordable to all.we have one bed and 4 racks per head.weekly twice cleaning of room and every day bathroom cleaning is compulsory in hostel .

Hostel Fee: INR 84000 per year

Admission

Eligibility course for b tech is 12th pass out. Jee main is the eligibility test to opt the course.cut off for cse admission is 70 percentile in jee main and there are other entrance tests like ojee.The application form is available at odisha jee .

Likes

The environment of KIIT is best for student as their are students from all over India you learn many things other than just your course.
The college life for the students at KIIT is awesome as the architecture of the university is designed for students to explore every possible thing required by any student.
The fest of KIIT is just best the students enjoy those days the most.

Dislikes

As for me their are no flaws that I can say I dislike in KIIT.

Placement Experience:

The placement was quite good. The one who is disciplined and willing to get placed and surely get placed and the total average was around six LPA and the highest package was 53 LPA, which was offered by the atlassian

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

Teaching style of faculty is excellent and related to practical based
Infrastructure of collage is just excellent and view is stunning
The playground facility is excellent and love to play different games

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Likes

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

There is a specific entrance exam in trident, by clearing that exam student get extra facilities means their course fees are below as compared to normal students. Eligibilty in the course is Subject in Intermediate ( 12th ) should include English & Maths. Apllication & Admission was done directly reaching the admission cell. MY MCA JOURNEY IN TRIDENT ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY, BBSR

Course eligibility- Maths in 12th + All bachelor's degree College took admission on the OJEE MCA score which is a govt entrance exam and anyone finds an application from the Ojee.ac.in the website in the month of jan-apr. Inside Trident Academy of Technology: A Student's Perspective

The admission process was a little bit easy. All we have to do is book a seat their in advance by giving 20k (refundable) or just by applying the counseling. Yes it has reservation benefits. Sc/St can get the seat even if they secured low marks than general. The time gap between one to another semester exam is approximately 4 months. And yes the exams are a little bit difficult as it is being held by BPUT not by our own college. The admission process is already great but one thing is the administrative officers are big manipulators.
