Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in computer science so I choose this course to learn programing how the code works in computer. Student ratio is 22 in class. Teacher are well qulified and there teaching method is easy to understand. There two term exam in 6 months and these exam is not difficult

Class Size: 22Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Internships Opportunities

This is my second semester so. We have not get internship opportunities yet. But when we enter the third semester we can achieve the internship opportunities. And our collage provide some task for projects and we work on those projects

Fees and Financial Aid

There is 40000 in a collage fees per semester. They not gave us oppurnity for the scolership. The cost of the fees is divided into the semester. We gave the 40000 per semester. There is eight semester

Campus Life

Yes there is a avilability of the books in the library. There is a two library. In the librabry they provide us all the books. There is sports and extra curricular activites on the campus, yes we have social groups and websites that is run by students

Admission

There was no entrance exam of the collage. We are selected with the basis of percentage if your percentage are greater then 70/ you are selected of this collage. When we go for the admission they gave us application form to fill the admission dates. There is no reservation benefits. There is no improvement in the admision process

An honest look at campus

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

SLIET longowal has well structured curriculum as per new education policy with well structured labs. to prepare for real world, college provide funds for startup and also motivate students to gain industry exposure. Many improvements can be done in curriculum like integration of cutting edge technologies, smart board, digital labs. There are three exams per semester two minors which take place in month of august and september and major or end sem exam in month of october, the timing of exam was from 1 pm to 4 pm. the difficulty level of exam is moderate

Placements in lovely professional university is decent and dont know much about it as i am in 1st year only but there were mandatory Placement classes for all which you need to select in 1st year only for which you need to pay extra 20k for the classes.

Remarks:

Good staff are very nice and supportive nature. There are not any faculty problem. Functions are organized in a very large scale which is very good. Ragging are strictly banned in college which is very good for fresher students. BAD: lack of equipment and machines in labs. Lack of practical knowledge for students.
