- Arrogant faculty members and there is also a language barrier which is feels while studying.
- Less lab equipments are available and many are not working properly which makes it very difficult in performing experiments.
- The fees of all the courses are very high but no air conditioner is available in the classroom which makes it very difficult to study in the summer season.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the course of B.Pharm because I liked the medical field very much and I want to do something for this field to benefit the patients. There are total 60 students and 15 faculty members who takes different different subjects. The faculties of our college has done M.Pharm and PhD. Some have the qualification of PhD and most of them have done only M.Pharm. The teachers behaviour is good but there is a language barrier because most of the teacher teaches in Bengali language and very few teaches in English. Most of them prefer Bengali language while explaining the topics. The semester exam is taken after every six months. Internal exam is taken twice before the end semester exams. The exam is not very difficult to pass. Most of the students pass in all the subjects.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees for B.Pharm course is ?5,50,000 (including the admission charges). The admission charge is ?1,13,400 and the semester fees is ?54575 which is taken in every semester. Both Central and State Scholarship is acceptable in our college like (Swami Vivekananda Scholarship) SVMCS, Central Sector scheme, etc.
Campus Life
Diwali fest is celebrated during the Diwali festival, phrabhat pheri, posh mela,Swami Vivekananda anniversary, Freshers fest is celebrated in the month of December. Pharmacy Day is celebrated in the month of September. Projector and speaker is available in every classrooms which are used for the study purposes. Inter College and Intra College Competition is taken place in the month of August for Football and Basketball sports. There is also a basketball court in our college campus. Admission
To apply for B.Pharm the student must have completed the 12th Standard with minimum 60% and he must have PCM / PCB as his subjects. Application form is available in the admission cell, the faculties will guide about the application dates. Total fees for the B.Pharm course is ?5,50,000 out of which ?1,13,400 is charged once during the time of admission and ?54575 is taken in each semester. No reservations benefits is available in our college. Yes I would like to see few changes like the reservation benefits must be provided by the college during the time of admission.
