My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding, data, web work and other IT skills. The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work, live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term. The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

My life in Oriental university

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

Easy for those who are preparing for other competitive exams

Remarks:

Good thing is if you're preparing for some competitive exam along with your degree this is the best choice since there is no attendance problem. You can join any coaching class a/c to your timingsYou just need to come to the college at the time of practicals, midsems and endsems. Good or bad that is it. But if you're a very concept oriented towards your UG/PG you'll regret taking admission in this college for a longer time. There are no placements provided, no internship offers. Just that rushy job fair that more looks like a city fair where anybody can come and sit at any company's cell at register themselves even boys.

Life in DAVV

I chose this college because it is the number one government university of MP and it has a lot of value in the industries and also has a lot of respect all over India Also, it is one of the oldest universities in MP, This university also has a very good placement record. Every year, approximately 95-100% of students get placed in jobs, business, and other employment fields. For admission in this college, one has to appear for CUET UG exams and must have 45+% in 10th and 55%+ in 12th. Also, if one has MP domicile certificate, it helps in counselling. The most demanding course is 5YEARS MBA E-COMMERCE, MS, FT along with 5YEARS MTECH IT, CS,and AI &DS. Cutoffs are normally high like 90+%ile and rest cutoff fluctuates every year due to overall result of CUET UG. Admission process can be a little bit frustrating But the process remains smooth, but it takes more time as it gets delayed than the given time....Read More

School of Pharmacy, DAVV detailed review.

Before finalizing my admission, I had shortlisted two other colleges: Indore Institute of Pharmacy (IIP) and SGSITS. IIP was a mid-level college, whereas DAVV was a better option as it is a reputed state university. SGSITS is a high-profile institute, but the cutoff was very high, and I could not secure admission there. I received a rejection from SGSITS but had an offer from IIP, so I ultimately chose DAVV for its academic reputation. Admission to DAVV is based on the CUET entrance examination, for which eligibility includes required subjects as prescribed by the university, followed by a centralized counselling process. Overall, the admission experience was smooth and normal, without any major issues....Read More
