Course Curriculum Overview
The aspects influensed me for choosing this cource is i had a special intrest in construction platform and i personally love construction building. The circulum was prepared at high level and it always helps us to make as a best civil engineer. I personally didn't see any specific place for better improvement. The exam timing was well prepared that we will have enough of time to give best in our examination. Our faculty was top most faculty in nit silchar and we were very luckey to achive the best faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Companies which offers internships in my college along with stipend are amazon, mahindra, Tata,tcs, Mainly roles provided are of junior engineer Some of the project of civil students are to determine the source of alkalinity in a near by village pond
Placement Experience
The eligibility for campus placements is from seventh semister. The companies visited in our campus are amazon,byjus ,tcs, mahindra etc.. and in civil engineer 97 offers were made out of 120 members. 27 lpa was offered in civil engineering and average paccage was 8 lpa . The percentage of students getting placed if approximately 80 percent in civil engeneering My plans after getting degree is to try for campus placements .
Fees and Financial Aid
I think the tution fees should not increase more because many of the students take admission in nit's,iit's,iiit's and gfti's for first studies and secondary for less fees. The complete cost of our education is (for open and anuall income above 5 lpa) 61,500 for tution , 25,600 for mess and 10,000 for hostel.total of 96,100. for a single semister. The scholarships were nsp which can get amount upto 50,000 , releance and fifa scholarships. There are many responsibilities likebpatispating in ncc,nss and many more helping our collage.
Campus Life
The top main fests that happen in nit silchar are technosis and incandence. Both the fests are held in February months. Nit silchar has a huge liberary which contains accurately all books which the students require and in large quantity that maximum students can avail book's. The faculty we get the best faculty and there is not even 1 cons about our faculty. All the faculty members are highly qualified . We had a good technological provisions within our class room. We can find all the sports in our collage and students are encouraged for inter nit's. All the social media clubs are runned by students and all the groups are runned for spreading official information with respective to the groups .
Hostel Facilities
The facilities are very assume each room contains of two members and there are common bathrooms which were mainained hygienically. The qualitily of the food is very nice and hygiene. We get 5 days a weak non veg and one day egg . We consume high protein food every day. It didn't took more time for registration and it was very affordability. Our hostel was located in nit silchar,beside nit road ,aryabhatta.
Admission
Admission process took a long time and it was completed by lots of document verification. I had return joint enterence examination the application process has completed by submiting our documents and followed by cast document and verification of mobile number and email id verification. The cutoffs were varies according to collages for our nit silchar,civil engineering cutoffs were upto 55,000 in open category. The aspects of administration process i personally don't like is waiting. The eligibility of cources is by clearing jee mains cutoffs. The place to find the application form, application fees, and application dates is website of jeemain.nit.ac.in I personally have obc reservation and it provides better opertunities for us . It is duration of 3 hours. I suggest to improve the man power and area for better registration.
