REMARKS
A wonderful college compromises a wonderful management without which the functions of the college cannot bloom. Thus the college management is extremely helpful and supportive which enables the students to take maximum benefits from available opportunities.
ENTRANCE PREVIEW
The admission at A N college is based upon a cutoff system although many streams have an entrance test related entry. The application can be made online and a cutoff is issued. The Bihar board Pariksha Samiti can also refer students to this college. The students securing cutoff marks can apply directly at respective departments.
PLACEMENT WING
The college youth is approached by a number of multinational and national companies for the raw talent withheld by them. Companies like Tekbrains, Tekmahindra etc offer direct placement to students by holding seminars in the college campus. The maximum offer made was of 5 lacs per annum . The college has a good placement record and the majority of students secure jobs while studying itself.
ADMISSION
The college offers online form application although I opted for physical submission of form . The office provides the form after submitting fees . The details of the student are to be filled in and submitted back at the office counter. Then a recipient slip is supplied to the students for future approach. After the cutoff is released the students are to report at their respective departments with their original certificates . Then after final registration you are a student of A N C.
HOSTEL FACILITIES
The college lacks a college campus hostel but housing is available all around the college with rooms starting from INR 3500 and above. The college canteen and mess are well maintained and standardized to provide good nourishment to its students. The canteen offers a variety of tasty cuisines and is really affordable for every student.
ALUMNI
The alumni of Anugrah Narayan college Patna comprises of union ministers and various IAS -IPS officers. They visit the college and even with their hectic schedule they yet spare some time to interact their juniors for helping them out in their present competition.
FACULTY
The faculty consists of PhDs each one of the holding specializations and excelling in the field of teaching. Some of the faculty members are recognized scientists and work in collaboration of the U N for research in different fields in Bihar. The syllabus is taken care of and time management is also emphasized while teaching .
CAMPUS LIFE
The campus life is quite an extravagant one with almost 50-50 gender ratio but varying diversely in each class. The students are allowed to use the seminar halls for various purposes of theirs. Workshop and various other competitions are held to help students. The college has students of various races and religions and yet no intolerance has been reported against any community in the college. The extracurricular activities are also well oriented.
COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
The course structure is a classic Indian honors system which puts a lot of focus on theory but yet the practicals are also conducted very well in the college. It can be assured that students studying with the structure provided by the college can gain research materials from the very beginning.
INTERNSHIPS OPPORTUNITIES
The college does not provide internship yet but it is like to start up in this direction. With internships available the college might be able to compete with the best colleges in India which are to be happening very soon.
COLLEGE EVENTS
The college is visited frequently by ministers due to the awesome display of events held every year in the college. The college hosts annual sports and Yuva Mahotsav. The annual sports aims at nurturing sportspersons and the Yuva Mahotsav is directed at picking uprising talents in various fields like poetry, art , dance , sciences etc.
LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
There are many category wise divided scholarship available from many government agencies and the college provides various different aids to economically underprivileged students. SC/ST students are entitled to free extra coaching classes by the teachers themselves.
