Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was easy to understand which made me choose this course. The teachers are supportive and friendly. The teachers assign timely assignments which to be presented in class. These assignments help us understand the topic well and build confidence and deplete the stage fear. The frequency of exams is bit messy. The MST are given more time whereas we don't get time to prepare for ESTs. The syllabus is vast so we have to revise so quick. Teachers should find better ideas to make us understand the topic.
Internships Opportunities
The big companies like IBM, Amdocs, Infogain, TCS, tech Mahindra , WIPRO, Huawei, kochar infotech offer internships to the students with stipend. The students are supposed to do internship and submit the report on what they learned on th internship and based on that they are given the marks.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is highly expensive. It amounts total for 3 lacs for 2 years. Including the food, rent and travelling charges can add upto 5 lacs. The SC and BC categories gets reserved quota of seats. And have to pay very little amount for fees. There are different departments which offer job roles to the students but i have not taken any.
Campus Life
Annually there is a big event called JASHAN which held in summers which include cultural activities performed by the students from different colleges. Youth fests are also organised. The technical infrastructure is great in the department. The canteen and stationery facilities are bit lacking. All the departments have their personalized libraries with books relating to their courses. The students organises freshers and farewell events for the students. They also run various clubs which organizes events on timely basis. The social life is good to explore with friends.
Admission
The application form for entrance exam was available on the official website of the university. After filling out of the details the admission fees is paid online. The timing of the exam was early morning. The exam was moderate for a new comer. The fees for the course is supposed to be paid on the same day of the selection which is difficult and should be amended.
