Canteen facility, prepared food with hygiene

Cleanliness in some hostel block is not good
Official work in admin block is not fast
Hostel timing for girls is 8'o clock in summer

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty members are good and application part is also good. But for first year of B.Sc. we have to manage different subjects like english, punjabi, physics, chemistry, maths. That's I think is the difficult part of the course

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure in 2017-20 was about 24k/yr and for hostel it is about 19000/yr, in which mess charges are not included that costs 33rs/ diet. Scholarships are also there for rank holders and economically weaker sections and for reserved categories

Campus Life

Campus life is really good with good infrastructure. Different events has been organised, youth festival, Jashan, Every Wednesday musical mehfil and many more. Gurudwara is also there and many cafe's too.

Admission

The admission in human genetics will be on the basis of merit of 12th class. The admission to this course is not a difficult task. Teachers are good and environment of university is also good. As the university is semi government, the fees for course is very genuine.

Likes

I really liked my overall collage experience.
Students gets many opportunities to participate in events.
The explained topic well and provide guidance.

Dislikes

Nothing is wrong in this, university all is well.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement opportunities are limited but students can explore opportunities with internships and jobs in hospitality and diagnostics laboratory. And research center. I panned to purses higher studies.

Best university

Likes

Infrastructure, facilities, faculty, environment.
The heavy security we have in our college.
Being a girl we need to more safe, so the hostel students have to go back into the hostel before 7 pm

Dislikes

The thing I really don’t like is attendance problem
We need to maintain the attendance above 75%
If we don’t have 75 or above we will get detained and need to pay extra to give exam

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible from the second semester to do internships, locally or given by the university. These time we need to do the internship of our choice means locally. The highest package is of a ₹1L till now. 80-90% students are getting placed across the courses.

I liked the Infrastructure of the university
Hostel mess is too hygienic and the food served is also good
The classrooms , library are well air conditioned

Dislikes

we need to maintain the attendance above 75 percent in every sem
university staff is very strict towards the checking
Exams are quite difficult and also the checking

The campus placements are good . many students get placed varying on their acedamic performance. High package offers are provided from well reputed companies. Students are free to explore about multiple carrer opportunities provided to them .

My Experience in CU

Likes

In this course extracurricular activities are best
Good exposure will be given by the university.
Also industrial trips will also scheduled.

Dislikes

Regular classes will be there monday to friday
Attendance will be maintained 75%per semester.
Semimars and evemts are mandatory because of attendance.

My decision to choose the course is exposure and extracurricular activities which is provided by the university in better wayy. Industrial trios has been scheduled per semester also seminars amd events are scheduled accordimg to degree .

Favulty very cooperative and helpful for students
Students can access libraries online and offline

75% mandatorily attendece for every semester
Uniform and dress code is mandatory for student

My course is really vety interesting . There are subjects like chemistry , zoology, botany , genetics and other elective subjects . Exam are related to our course , syllabus and knowledge. Teachers clears all our doubts . Passing marks is 40%.

Attendance issues which is a great problematic
Sometimes behaviour of the colleagues and friends

For the Bsc medical course . I had interest in Chemistry and zoology so u choose to be in this course and my interest in teaching . And I want to pursue my career in this field. And it has a such a great experience in bsc medical course.

Likes

The thing i like about is the facultys .
Also the mentorship of the students and understanding
Also the infrastructure of the university

I dont like is the time table of the university
Also dont like about the timings of buses
I also dont like about the regularly classes during festival

I would rate it 5 on 5. As all the unite are very appropriate and easily understanding also the the treaching methods of teacher are amazing so that each and every student understand the syllabus easily.

The infrastructure is really good plus environment is good.
Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and thought and help in reaserch projects.
Social life is good we can interact with juniors and seniors.

Dislikes

The inside transportation facilities is not good.
Too much restriction on moving in and out of campus.
Much formal interaction with teachers and HOD od department

The things I liked is that difficulties is very helpful, and there are various opportunities that we get
The other thing I liked is that there is no ragging in the university. All the children are respectful towards towards each other.

Likes

I like the food in the campus from the canteens
I like the discipline that is maintained in the college
All the students from our department are very regular

Dislikes

The admission process...it takes too much energy
They will make you go here and there for fees
Very hectic classes and no reliability for us

The salary package depends on skills and performance. The university also helps students prepare for interviews. Basically, I heard about this university from my friends and then I filled online form for the entrance test. this entrance is based on the +2 syllabus .. around 2000 students fill this test and around 200-300 will take good ranks and take admissions.
