What Students Say

Likes

Good Infrastructure of College and Atmosphere
On the banks of River Sabarmati and outskirts
Helpful Nature of all the faculties teaching us

Dislikes

Events occuring in Hostel Area leads to lot of noise
Mess food is sometimes unlikely and have to eat outside.
College is far away from city of Gandhinagar

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is chill. But although it is chill, the course is well enough and prepares us for real life experiences. The course can be made more digital in order to improve the course. The teaching methods also can be made more practically. There are 2 exams per semester which are tough and problems are real life and we learn about the applications.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Caltech, Texas, Citi Banks are some the institutions and companies which offer internships for students at IIT Gandhinagar. Roles offered include research roles and completion of specific projects and tasks. Stipend given is also of good amount and include all the living cost and food charges.

Placement Experience

Placements of college are good. 4th year onwards students are eligible for student placements. Some good companies coming here for placements are Texas, Yes Bank, and TCS. The highest Package is 70,00,000 approximately and the average package is 15,00,000 nearly. Nearly all the students sitting for the placement round get placed. My plans after getting the degree is higher studies in some foreign institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition Fee is 1,00,000 per semester and seems to be constant till now. The complete cost of education is 1,50,000 per semester which includes Hostel and Mess Fees which are compulsory. Reservation scholarships and other institutional-funded scholarships are available for students. Also, academic excellence awards are there. Campus employment and some job roles are also available.

Campus Life

My campus life is good. Annual Tech Summit is Amalthea and Cultural Fest is Blithchron, Sports Annual Event called Hallabol also takes place. Library has all types of books, journals and thesis books are also available. These student run fests helps to develop management and leadership skills. Classrooms have digital boards and projector screens.

Hostel Facilities

All required facilities are provided in the hostel. Pantries are available at every floor which has fridge, oven and stove. Mess menu is also good and diverse and has got 5 star rating. Hostel registration is included in the admission process and fees are affordable. Room has a table to study, lamp and cupboard to store our belongings and also a bed to sleep.

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per year

Admission

Eligilibity is to pass in JEE Advanced Examination. Application Form can be found on official website after JoSAA Counselling. This exam is taken every year is one of the toughest exam in the world. Competitive environment can be made more competitive for improvement.

The parul university review

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
