What Students Say

Likes

The campus life is really good. You will get a lot of exposure.
Chandigarh is not very far away, i.e., easy transportation.
Infrastructure is really impressive. You will like it.

Dislikes

Poor management. If you have a problem regarding management, don't expect to get a solution very easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was personally interested in mathematics. But the overall curicullum is based on the new education policy 2020. There are some online courses on LinkedIn and Corcera. Classs are held 5 days a week, (4 days a week for some cources).

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 62000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

An online test is held before the admission, based on which scholarship is provided. Fees is not very high. Placements opportunities will be provided but you yourself will have to work hard for the same.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure is something which would impress any student. But don't expect to get a good building if you are choosing Mathematics or Physics. Both of these blocks are not owned by the university and do not even have basic facilities like air conditioner, etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees currntly (2023-24) is Rs. 1,20,000/- for a 4 seater room. Some hostels have ACs amd some don't. You'll be asked to choose at the time of admission. The food quality is good, but the menu might not seem to be too goood for everybody. Wifi and other facilities are provided.

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

Admissions are seamlessly facilitated through the official website, offering a convenient online platform for applicants, including fee structure, cource elegibility and other necessary details. Exams are held every month. Study material is provided on the website.

I like the discipline that is maintained in the college
All the students from our department are very regular

Dislikes

The admission process...it takes too much energy
They will make you go here and there for fees
Very hectic classes and no reliability for us

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh University provides good placement opportunities. Students can apply for jobs in their final year. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Deloitte offer jobs to students. The salary package depends on skills and performance. The university also helps students prepare for interviews. After completing my degree, I want to get a good job, learn new skills, gain experience, and build a successful career.
