Basic and important course like linear algebra, algebra, real analysis, topology etc in syllabus. Along with this audit course and certificate courses are available.As good faculty who are friendly,inspiring and supportive. Provide chance to attend national seminars.

Our mathematics department have no internship programs currently. But there is certificate courses and audit courses. Other department like economics, physics has two to six months internship programs.

Cambus selection conducted by Zifo, Acceture, Federal bank and Esaf bank. No arrears for the applicants. They were selected after aptitute test, group discussion and interview.Out of 18 from our class 5 are selected to zifo, 4 are selected to Accenture, 1 to federal bank and Esaf selection process is going on.

Course fees:13000 Exam fees:900-2000 ( in each semester ) Scholarships:Inspire scholarship, one girl child scholarship, Joseph mundassery scholarship, Chief minister scholarship etc. Campus placements by: Zifo, Acceture, Federal bank, Isaf bank.

Devagiri has a lot academic,non academic extracurricular programs like sports,arts, college day, pg day, ethnic day, devagiri night, devagiri fest, department fest, onam celebration, Christmas celebration etc. Socially help program such as blood donation and social activities under nss, nccand peace and happiness club.

Applicants should study mathematics as core or complementary course.Admission is according to mark. Admission details are on the college site.Community reservation for Roman Catholics, SC/ST categories.

Admission:

Amar college takes admission merit wise criteria. Aggregate marks obtained at 10 + 2 or equivalent are taken into consideration while preparing the merit list for each course. Applications for admission are accepted in online as well as offline mode. After acceptance application for admission one has to go through a short interview before finalisation of the admission. Being an over 35 years old college in the district it is known for the quality of its education.

Quite unnoticed, yet ahead of time

Remarks:

The best remark I could make here is that the college gives you the freedom to work and push your ideas. The facilities like Cisco Thingqbator, Kerala Startup Mission and Fablab can take you to another level. The bad remark is that the institute's own premises are less and offer no hostels. But from 2020 onward the entire IIITMK is moving to the new international campus (in Technocity, 7km away from current location) having hostel facilities for all.

The best thing I found there is a Cisco Thingqbator (Maker space) where we can build IoT devices and more.Cisco is doing this project with partnershiping with Nasscom and Defy.Li2 conduct lot of workshops under Thingqbator about IoT and machine learning and lot of things.Even they mantor students to build their idea which is submitted under cohort programs hosted by them and provide all fecilities and equipments.This is the only one thing that I kike in this Institute.It is well maintained by Cisco not by our administration.That may be the reason it is well maintained.

St Joseph's College, Devagiri: The beginning of success and prosperity.

This college was my first choice and I am grateful that I got into it. Our +2 marks is the parameter to get the admission and after that you'll have a short interview as well. Some Devagiri things that you should know before joining.

To get admission students should have 85% of marks. As i have 93.5% i got the seat very easily. I was applied online by myself, I don't remember the application fees. I've availed OBC reservation benefits but I don't know about the details. The frequency of exam is around within every 4-5 months.
