Campus Life

My campus life experience was vibrant and enriching, characterized by a strong social scene, diverse club involvement, and excellent infrastructure. Socially, I found a welcoming community where friendships flourished both in and out of the classroom. From study groups to weekend outings, there was always a sense of camaraderie. Club involvement played a significant role in my campus experience, allowing me to explore my interests and passions beyond academics. Whether it was joining a cultural club, participating in a sports team, or engaging in volunteer work, there was something for everyone. These clubs fostered leadership skills, provided networking opportunities, and enriched my overall college experience. Infrastructure-wise, the campus offered modern facilities and resources to support academic and extracurricular pursuits. State-of-the-art libraries, well-equipped laboratories, and recreational centers contributed to a conducive learning environment. Additionally, access to

Hostel Facilities

1st year hostel is quite boring. Mess food is average for the 1st year. But after 1st year the hostel experience is good. Mess food is good and hygine is well maintained. Hostel bathroom is cleaned daily and hygine is maintained properly.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

Admission process was very smooth. I heard about in internet this college . This college has giving opportunities for avg 4LPA package. Campus and hostel accommodation is quite good. Fees is also less.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

"PMEC: Nurturing Future Engineers Through Innovation and Excellence"

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. The exam dates are frequent and are mentioned in the academic calendar....Read More
