Likes
- Things I liked are things like the cultures and fests and clubs here and there is also a very good network of friends.
- Another thing I liked was the very good quality of labs to promote practical education.
- The teachers here are very friendly too and I love them.
Dislikes
- The schedule is a little too tight but I'm sure it's for our better.
- There is a requirement of 75% attendance.
- There are some teachers who have a bit of an attitude but are still very good teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for first year is same for all branches but later on it emphasizes on computer based subjects and really teaches us coding very well which will be useful for our future jobs as today the jobs are getting very software oriented.
Placement Experience
We become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year and are visited by many MNCs like TCS, Accenture, Byju's, etc. The average package here is 4-5 lacs per annum and the highest package for last year was 12 lpa. I plan to go for higher studies after degree
Fees and Financial Aid
We first gave 10k through OJEE registration (5000 for TFW students) and then 29000 on the spot (27000 for TFW STUDENTS). There are also a lot of scholarships available like e-Medhabruti and Post Matric Scholarship
Campus Life
There are many clubs like coding, robotics, cadence, drawing and writing clubs. Other than that CSE also has a society called AGILE. There are many events held like exuberance, shaurya, exprdium etc and they're all very fun
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facilities are really good compared to other hostels. And it's very affordable too for 13000 per year. I truly believe our meal quality and menu is the best among odisha state govt colleges. The registration process is really simple too.
Admission
We needed minimum 85%ile. Applied through OJEE counselling. Haven't availed reservation benefits myself but there are a lot. Entrance exam was JEE Mains. The admission process was really good and not much to change.
