Course Curriculum Overview
A comprehensive curriculum can help students connect what they learn to what happens in their daily life, through thid college got exposure to how real life problems are solves as it is not based on mug up process but rather gives you a logical and real life-based example and even send you for field projects which further helps in many aspects for making a crucial decision which requires brainstorming ang high intellect. even with so much exposure, there is a need for improvements in course curriculum and teaching methods as well which can be initiated through modern technology like the replacement of a blackboard with a smart board; encouraging group activity and teamwork by asking the feedback from students ; two way teachung; reflective practice and many more. the frequency of exams is good but there is wrong timing. the exams are often postponed due to inefficient management and even the bach mentors do not hold important documents such as the ATKT list on crucial times and the level of paper is moderate
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fees is very high for undergraduate courses like bcom which amounts to 67000 approximately for a year. This leads to difficulties like non-payments of fees or non-payments of fees at the right time, furthermore which to extra payments of approx 250 rupees for the delay in submission of fees. The availability of scholarships is not good, it would take months to ask to make avail of the scholarships after numerous rounds to the particular department which in return says that they have turned deaf. the campus placement won't take you to Dubai but is concerned locally only even after many remainders
Campus Life
its a vibrant and bustling environment where you will find the perfect blend of academics, extracurricular activities and social interactions. Several popular clubs cater to a wide range of interests. some of the most popular ones include sports clubs, dance club, music clubs, literature, entrepreneurship, and many more. there are even facilities of exhibitions on technological aspects
Admission
The admission process of DAVV involves the following steps : Register online and fill out the required form score well on the cuet and then participate in counselling round wait for the end result to be disclosed cut off varied from couse to course but for bcom hons it was 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 from any background minimum50% marks in 10+2 in commerce/science in cuet. Admisiion to various cources are merit based and score of cuet based which does not give direct admission to students is one of the drawbacks of admission process
