What Students Say

Likes

Campus life, highly qualified faculties, clubs

Dislikes

Poor placement, lack of internship opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The course in which I have enrolled is a very good course and is the most demanding course in this college. The closing rank in my course is around 2 lakhs. The placement cell of this cse course should be improved as they give very less placement

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 39900 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of this college is not according to my expectation. Here the average package is 3 lpa and the percentage of student placed is very low. My plan after getting this degree is to opt for higher studies like mtech by giving gate exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in this college is 39900 for one year as college fees and for those staying in hostel is extra 30000 per year. It also contains a scholarship section where students can get various types of scholarship

Campus Life

The campus life according to me in this college is very good. As it has a beautiful environment which is full of trees and also consists a big playground for the students to play anytime they want. It also have various types of clubs like Imagics and cadence

Admission

I have given jee main exam and joined this college by securing a good rank. The eligibility of this course is to appear in ojee counselling through the ojee website which occurs in the month of August. All types of reservations are there which is provided by odisha govt.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. "PMEC: Nurturing Future Engineers Through Innovation and Excellence"

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. The exam dates are frequent and are mentioned in the academic calendar....Read More
