Teacher, friends, senior, all the staff .
Canteen lunch like momo, falay, thuppa, alu mimi.
We don't have pressure about study because every week we have a test .

Internships Opportunities

Opportunity available are on job training , in intensive hospital gave us salary and one year experience certificate, and if we want to go out of country they are ready to prepared us for IELTS exam .and also 1 year computer class cartificate.

Fees and Financial Aid

For addmission only 8 thousand and for Sikkim subject holder fee is 32 thousand per semester and exam fee 25hundred , and for the unlocal people 45 thousand per semester and exam fee 25hundred in this college we don't need any tution because staff are friendly we can ask them any time any questions related to the study and college they are available any time

Overall experience in medhavi skill University East Sikkim campus life it is so amazing I am also a new student in this college but I have done so many funs with teachers and friends they are such a nice person . Library is vary widely depending on factors like the library budget.size and focus.

Admission

If Student was pass class 12 by science he/she can do BSC in any courses, but students pass by any other subjects they can only do diploma. Application form is available in college,fee is 8 thousand for addmission and date is not announced.

Thing I like in this college . Facultys .

I don't like this college environmental and infrastructure

Likes

the college has all the needed facilities from having a WIFI to having a proper campus needs
the faculties are very kind and polite to us.
the way of teaching with power point presentations makes us learn with more of enthusiasm

Dislikes

the weather usually is too hot so there are not much of fan's in the class which makes us uneasy .
the place where the college is located is very far from my locality so .
the timing of the university feels like the school time we used to go

i chose this course because i was always intrested in medical field with that this university elaborated me with so much of facilities that made me chose this course this university makes me learn with in hand learning practically with the faculties , makes me experience more and focus on my skills . there should be more of the latest technologies in the universtity to keep us updates with the modern day world

Clinicals are good the learning environment is also pretty good
Classes are quite spacious and good facilities are provided
Libraries for books are good and all books are available

Dislikes

The hostel food in mess is really disgusting
Its quite expensive as compared to other nursing colleges
The exam fees should be included in tuition fee

Placement Experience:

After conpletion of the course the placement is done Not sure Maybe from25000 to 50000 Everyone will get placements after tge course its on them to choose or nit Going abroad is my plans if everything goes well

So honestly i loved the mess area it's very affordable, delicious and healthy... overall in this price point college it's one of the best mess area overall in india..in this price point
Wifi Ms is good, projectors are there in classroom for a better overview regarding learning
And further infrastructure are good like Labs, radiology labs, dialysis labs r well furnished n good

Dislikes

Playground area of sports r not that good it's just average

See it's been just 4-5 months n i started building good communication n practice in english as well as interacting i felt confidence...sli choosed this course bsc Optometry as it was my dream since from small to treat the people's thatswhy i choosed to do optometry course as un this eras generation r building up with games techs so people might face difficulties regarding eyes thatswhy i choosed to do this course

Likes

The faculty member are very friendly amd interactive.
Free wifi is available in the college .
Skill drill is there in which it acts like a backup for future.

Dislikes

Classes are a bit conjusted amd a bit small.
Chemistry lab is not there its under development.
Library is too small and required book is not there.

Placement Experience:

The student need to obtain 70% to be eligible for placements.Many companies and hospitals came to our college for placement like hotel hyat,and central research hospital.The highest package offered was 3.4lakhs per annum by hotel hyat for hotel management course.I will establish my own diagnostic centre with my uncle.

Honest review of SMCON

Likes

The college has good faculties, good lab demonstration classes, good well ventilated digital class rooms and good clinical exposure
The college is associated with hospital CRH, it has good canteen facilities, indoor games like badminton court, basketball court etc
Placement services of SMCON is excellent every year 3 prestigious institutions like tata medical, kokilabehn, medanta come for placement

Dislikes

Infrastructure of overall smims is great but infrastructure of SMCOn ican be improved
Campus is small, personal hall not available, t

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of BSc nursing in smcon is great with orientation class and lab demonstration class every year with theory classes and clinical postings starting from the very first year exams are also not so difficult it involves questions of books along with critical thinking questions.

I liked the way they teaches and talk to students very nicely and politely very appreciating and motivating always says so many good
Very much responsive and take good care of us
Very much hardworking for us and teaches us with full enthusiasm

Dislikes

I dislike that our university doesn't have a campus
I dislike that there are less sports and other gaming things
I dislike that there are less canteens for us

Placement Experience:

From i think 3rd semister students become eligible for campus placements there are a lots of companies but I don't know their names i think the percentage could be 50%or something else .my plans is to get a nice placement in a very nice position

Placement Experience:

The placement is provided during the end of the course after the final exam where we are given opportunity to get interviewed by reputed companies. If the interview goes well we are handed over the offer letter.

Love and hate relationship with this college

Likes

The teachers including principal is very hardworking
The ambience and surroundings are study friendly.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not upto the mark.
Resources needed for the college is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is study friendly only. Not that difficult nor that easy. Some of the topics or subjects i think should be removed as they do not prepare us for any real world applications. Teaching methods used were also good

Remarks:

The positive side of this college is that it has good facilities and good infrastructure. The college also provides quality education. The negetive side is that the exams conducted by the university and even the sessionals are really difficult.
