What Students Say

Likes

The campus, the facilities, the management, the clubs, the student welfares, all these

Dislikes

Well its hard to say anything I've disliked. There isn't much more that i disliked.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choosed civil engineering because it will help my later career. Especially in this college one thing I'll never regret that is choosing this branch. The faculty is very wholesome. One of the best management I've ever seen. Best in all form. The staffs are very much friendly yet responsible. They actually do care about our future. If I have to rate this course and faculty members I'll rate them 9/10.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good and well enough for every class of people. Both for the hosteller and dayscholar the fees structure isn't being much trouble. The one thing that this college is very concern about is its scholarship system. Scholarship section of here is always active. Many of the students are being helped by this scholarship. The amount they got that's helpful in many ways. Although I have never got the chance to get this scholarship opportunity because of some specific reason. Like I said not a single student face trouble in their financial assistance. The campus employment I've seen is good. The placements students got are good.

Campus Life

My Overall campus life is wonderful. The annual and technical festivals I had attended was awesome. The sports fest and the branch fest our campus held are literally fire. The annual function is the biggest cultural festival of our college. The 3 days long function blows away your mind. The organization are so well that the environment of campus is goes fire. To access books journals we have the library. Recently we Building our biggest ever library a separate large Building. The facilities and technological provision within the classrooms are very good. The smart board class too advanced. The Social groups clubs are the best in this college

Admission

So for btech first I appeared my JEE main after my 12th boards over. I scored enough rank to get this college. For admission I applied for this college (Parala Maharaja Engineering college) After all the formalities I got admission here in the first place without any issue. I choosed Civil engineering as my course because in a government college it should've help me somehow in my career.

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

"PMEC: Nurturing Future Engineers Through Innovation and Excellence"

Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang. It is a better place than what I have explored in this four year of my study. The faculties of civil engineering are very good. I opt for civil in this college because of the infrastructure that is better than the other colleges. The admission here is very simple. You have to submit the documents that you had uploaded at the time of counseling. The additional factor is that the aspiring candidate must have passed 12th grade and have appeared in JEE Main exam or OJEE Exam. After this the next process involves applying for counseling of OJEE. The exam dates are frequent and are mentioned in the academic calendar....Read More
