Course Curriculum Overview

B.com helps in management and it is for the business world . We can learn many thing going around the commercial world through this course as it is not a professional course but this course provides a great knowledge of business.

Internships Opportunities

Ya college get us updated with lots of new internship in their facebook pages and interested student can fill the form . The internship help in getting knowledge and experiences . The average stipend amount is 2000-3000 per month and certificate of the company.

Placement Experience

Sri Aurobindo Evening has a great placement cell. The placement cell of this college is very active and every year about 60% of students got placement through the college . Good reputated companies such as kmc , yahoo , uber used to come and the average package student get is 5-6 lacks per annum.

College Events

EXUBERENCE is arganized in our college every year in the month of february and all the societies of college contribute their sweat and blood in making this fest successful. They call celebrities and many students of other colleges also come and enjoy in the fest and makes it grand.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee of this college is very convinent as it is a government college so it charge only around 6000 per annum. The college also provides great facilities in this amount of fee . College provides laptop to its student for free for one year which is great in this amount of fee.

Hostel Facilities

No their is no college hostel but their are residental area in about 1-2 km of the college for students. They can search for pg or flat near by college and the area around college is great and it is very neat and clean.

Alumni of the college is great and they also provides departments room where students can meet their teachers and clear their doubts. Alumni is also very helpful as they used to provide every knowledge they know.

The faculty of this college is great as teachers are well qualified and some has done phd . Teachers give great attention to the students and try to explain at their best level.

The faculty members are supportive, knowledeable. Teacher explain concepts clearly and encourage student to participate in discussion
I like friendly and comfortable campus environment. student from different background intreact with each other
The college provides a good acedemics foundation and opptunities for overall development. being Part of delhi university also give student exposure to different events

Dislikes

some classroom and campus facilitues need improvement
placement oppotunites can be improved, esecially for student looking for better corporate exposure.
the evening college schedule can something be inconveibient because many acitvity and oppotunities are generally more accessible during regular college hours

Life at South Campus

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Likes

College is improving day by day teaching faculty is also helpful it recently got A++ NAAC credition as well
Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. Faculties are best. They teaches you and create never ending bond with you.
Infrastructure is good but the area is small , the greenery is amazing and flowers are sooo sweetest.

Dislikes

No hygiene in canteen. Avoid eating from canteen.

The curriculum is highly relevant notably the focus on real world applications and Advanced Financial reporting. It prepared me well for professional life. Improvement is needed in digital tool exposure.

i dont like any thing in this college

there is a green gaurden in my colleges old campus
we have a big ground in our college which i like i can play football there
they make an football ground in old campus which is good

Dislikes

techers are not good in teacing they just want to let it go the classes
my college was too small and the classes are not properly furnished for my class size
there is no place for sit in the shade or to make our mind diverted or have fun and the canteen is worst of old campus

i am from commerce background i want to do eco honers but in 12th i dont have mathematics so i cant then i decideid for b. com honers but i aloted the b.com program which is my 3rd priority umm i leanrd new things in my ncc and with my friends there are very less college activities to i dont know how to make my college life good and make some experiences they can make us travel with them to the real buiseness or any factory or a relay paper work from any company i want to do a camp in jab which is good for my ncc life but it is during my exams thats why i cant did that camp yet

i liked their faculty member and staff , they are played with students and taught as a friend
i liked canteen service and their foods it is hygienic but canteen infrastructure is not good
i liked their ground its have bollyball court basketball court badminton court and cricket ground also and they provide gym in college

Dislikes

i didn't like their campus because its not too much big
and college provide which lift service is not working properly
their bathroom is not too good and not too much hygienic

i choose bcom hons and all teacher are provide their 100% on their courses but neet to improve in practical exam because some computer not working and teacher teach students in one computer but there is no difficult paper according to time some time it's lengthy.

Not my first choice, but not a Bad one either

I wanted to have a college that should allow me free time for my UPSC prepartion and coachings and a part time job as well. So accordingly Sri Aurobindo fits well to it. When I compare it to other colleges I had applied to, the differences are quite noticeable. Day colleges definitely have a more vibrant campus life. In contrast, the evening setup here is quieter and more functional, with students mostly attending classes and heading back. Academically, though, the gap isn’t as wide as one might assume. The curriculum is the same across Delhi University. As for the admission process, it was fairly straightforward thanks to Delhi University’s centralized system. I have applied all the colleges of Delhi university because I have given c u e t which means common University entrance test so after the completion and admission process started I had a preference this college at my number 32. No I didn't get a direction from other colleges my marks in the cuet exam was 532 out of 800 and I belong to general categories so far it's very hard for the general category student to get admission in a very good course and very nice colleges so far I didn't get the rejection and after normalisation my school gets to low I think after normalisation my core gets detected around 100 marks.
