Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is very detailed and theory oriented but covers almost all the basic areas. If it were to include more of practical classes it would prove more helpful. There are practicals but they are not enough. Exams are held semester wise. Exams are not hard to pass
Internships Opportunities
There is an internship cell at the college that lets students know when internships are available. But a minimum stipend of 10000 rupees is required if it is a private company. If it's a government company then stipend less internships are also accepted.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for placement usually around seventh semester. The lowest package is usually 5 LPA and the highest was 34LPA. Around 85% of students get placed. Companies like Bosche, Infosys,etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are paid semester wise. It rounds up to around 13000 per year. Scholarships are available to reservation category and also for general students based on merit and income. There is an internship cell and part-time job cell to aid students in finding jobs
Campus Life
Technical fest is Dhrishti and cultural fest is Dhwani held usually in April or May. There are also department fests held once a year and so all the students are engaged in one way or another. There are lots of sports activities like football, basketball, badminton, table tennis. There are plenty of clubs like BBC, IEEE, IEDC, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Good hostel facilities. Capacity of 700 in ladies hostel. Usually 4 people in a room. Common bathrooms are available. Food is provided thrice along with tea and snacks in the evening. Very affordable. Comes to around 3000 rupees a month.
Admission
Has to have written and passed the KEAM exam and 10th and 12th grade. If applying for general seats in BTech CSE atleast a rank of 550 is required. Keam rank is calculated by taking 12th marks and keam exam marks into consideration.
