Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is suited for a student to focus on studies as well as their talents. Curriculum involves a semester which is of 4months roughly and involves classes from 9am to 4pm. The lunch break is during 12pm -1pm. Children may not feel the syllabus as hectic if they go through topics periodically and not wait for the last minute to open their textbooks/PDF files or whatever.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 13550 per year

Internships Opportunities

Most students try to avail internships through LinkedIn profiles. Other opportunities come through WhatsApp groups in respective class groups. The poeple who hire us check our resumes and take us in. Some get PPO after internships.

Placement Experience

Placements are also very good as compared to colleges in Kerala. CET is one of the top colleges when it comes to placements. Computer Science branch is the top branch where most of them get placed. EC and EEE are departments with high placements too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure involves approximately 13.5k for each semester. Hostel fees is less than 4.5k per month including food. Lots of scholarships are available including the ones provided by the state government. Financially backward students can easily avail one of these and there are clubs which help these students with scholarships.

Campus Life

Several clubs are there which focus on multiple aspects of students' interests. Students can get into clubs through exams or just through contacting the already existing members incase of open clubs. They can explore their interest and talents inside each clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is kind of poor. The hostel is ages old and requires a renowation. Fee structure is on the affordable side and other facilities like gym are lacking. It also lacks a good library. Food quality is good and hygienic.

Admission

I took the KEAM exam in 2020 and got a rank of 3765. I got Computer Science in CET in the second allotment. KEAM exam was much easier than JEE and I was able to prepare for it through Youtube classes. The admission process was easy-going and completed it within 1 day.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

college provides nice venue good study environment

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students

These companies provide placement for all the branches of the college. 90 percent of the students get placements. I prefer to go for higher studies after getting the degree.
