Likes

The faculties are very good. They had a good knowledge about the subject they are taking
The infrastructure is good in our campus.
Campus life is better as there in no strikes in the campus, no ragging.

Dislikes

The internship facility should be taken mandatory in last year
There should be above 90 percent students placed after the course through campus placement
Students should get more practical knowledge about the course

The curriculum that influenced decision to choose this course is interest in trade and also opportunities and jobs after the completion of this course. The curriculum that prepares for real world applications or further academic pursuits is very good as we get enough knowledge about this subject. The areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods is based on the interest of students. 6 months gap

Internships Opportunities

I had attended 5 day internship program in Kerala State Electricity Board Substation. The AE, sub engineer and other staffs gives a good explanation about the substation in the yard and also inside the substation. Our project is based on the subject Indoor navigation using LIFI for blinds.

Placement Experience

From semester 7 students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, PROCSYS, PHISCAPE, PLANETSPARK, QSPIDERS, MANAPPURAM FINANCE are some of the companies and the average salary offer is around 30000 to 40000. Above 50 percent get placed. After getting degree I am going to work under a A grade license contractor for 1 year for taking an A grade supervisor license.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees of course is 22500 for 6 semesters for me. The scholarship is based on the semester exam's cgpa. If I have above 9.5 cgpa, the semester fees is 15000. We get scholarship if we had cgpa above 8.

Campus Life

The technical festivals are held on the even semester. It is commonly between January to April. There are plenty of books in the library. Also we get journals from IEEE explore. We had plenty of lights and fans in our class. All class have smart rooms. There plenty of space and needed sunlight in all classrooms. IEEE is the social group in our campus for our future.

Admission

I had written the Lateral entry exam after completing the diploma course. I go directly to the college for application forms. I don't have any reservation benefits. There are 2 exams in an year. Go directly to college for admission process.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

Likes

The overall environment here is great. Students coming from different backgrounds make us more capable of meeting new people who have different ideas and that makes things easier,apart from achieving technical greatness ,curtain clubs are here
These clubs gives opportunities to gain new skills and to showcase our existing skills, sports clubs are also present which will help improve skills in sports
Cultural clubs , technical clubs are also present here to aid in your interest

Placement Experience:

Upon reaching s7 students are invited for campus placement but they have to pass different criteria to become eligible for attending the interview, a minimum cgpa of 7.5 and academic skills a these are the basic requirements and an aptitude test will be given and in further selection these criteria are looked. I plan on pursuing a job after completing by btech. More than half the students in a batch are getting placed usually.

Likes

college provides nice venue good study environment
provide library facilities and lab facilities
provide internet facilities like wifi and average classrooms

It is so far from the main road a lot to walk

Placement Experience:

Students can get internships from First sem. Students become eligible from 7th sem for campus placement . The average package begins from 15000/- to most highest package of 25000/-. The percentage of students getting paced is 20-30%.I have been planiing to go to higher studies.

Likes

Campus, comparing from nearby college this college had good visual beauty may be because of the college been part 2-3 movies. Visually the college are too good with nature

Dislikes

The Placement is weak as there is no opportunity to get a proper core based job from what you studied mainly job opportunities come from call centres which doesnt require Btech to study. This personally felt too sad to be here to get placed in core.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As of the college comes under Ktu syllabus it has already has demerits of the university. Curriculum basically doesnot provide a realworld application uses. Just creates a knowledge on the course (and thats doubt) We need to courses outside the college to get the core jobs outside

The college provides a good atmosphere to truly get a job in the competetive world if we are willing to work for it.
They heavily monitor attendance to make sure that you take your classes so that you perform well in your exams
The facilities provided by the college are good as there are several labs and workshops for hands-on experience

Dislikes

The campus life can get boring and it feels like we are in a rat race.
Some teachers can be a bit apathetic towards the students.
The number events that encourage social interactions in not many

Placement Experience:

The students are elegible for campus placements from the 7th semester and almost all students get placements provided they don't have any subject yet to clear at the time of placement. There are several companies that visit the college for recruiting including but not limited to TCS, CTS,etc,.

The campus is a package pf greenery and the culteral events conducted there are good at the end
The faculties are good and maintain a decent teaching style
The sports activities are well maintained here

Dislikes

The hostel mess and the food is a bit not good from my opinion
The hostel doesn't have adequate wifi to accommodate the entire strength of students residing there

Yes the college is providing placement facilities and the College has its own placement and industrial relations wing that is said to study about the current industrial requirements and provide the adequate amount of training for the students
