Civil engineering offers a wide range of career paths, including structural engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering , geotechnical engineering and more . This diversity allows you to explore different areas of interest within the field.The practical knowledge (labs)helps us to be prepared to work in the field of engineering in future jobs. The duration of sem is reduced from 6 months to 3 months in the recent couple of years . It should be bring back to normal that is of 6 months otherwise it will put pressure on students. There will a internal and external exam for both theory and lab. The sum of both internal and external gives the total mark for the end semester examination

Many private internship companies with placement assisted internship such as skill vertex , corizo, air table , teachnook, acmegrade etc.. provide internship Many students chapters of clubs such as IEDC, GDSC offers internship and workshop programmes Most of the companies correlate with IIT's and IIM's to provide internship programme for the students with stipend upto 20k

After 6th sem we get training from placement cell for which we need to pay a small fee, their technical training and recruitment programmes provides assistance to students. The companies that are frequently recruiting in our college are shobha, L&T, oracle, infosys, wipro, amazon, yahoo, federal bank, MRF, TCS, mahindra, huawei The highest package offered is 32 LPA and average package is 6LPA. In 2023 , 82 from civil , 42 from chemical, 98 from cs, 106 from ec , 109 from eee, 94 from mechanical , 36 from production got placed . In 2022 756 offers were made I wish to work in the construction industry as a site engineer ,project manager or structural engineer

The fee will fluctuate for each sem and it would less than 8000 for odd sem ( charge include university exam fee , university arts &sports fee, bus fee, affiliation fee ) and for the even sem it would be less than 4000( fee include exam fee and tuition fee). Ktu provides a insurance scheme 'suraksha' which require ?100 as fee for each sem The college provide many scholorship such as egrants, pragati, merit cum means , safe etc.. the alumni also provide scholorship in our college

The annul national multi fest of our college is dyuthi, which is both cultural and technical event. The event offers a diverse range of activities including robotics competitions and art exhibition.dyuthi fosters collaboration learning amd growth through workshop , seminars, panel discussions ,hackathon and other interesting games like quiz, tressure hunt etc Technical fest of civil engineering department is concetto which also include many worshops , talk session etc.. Our provide a main library and department libraries. If you need to take books from library you need to take membership in the library. The college conduct sports and arts fest annually in which lot of students showcase their skills There are several student chapter in our college such as ICI, ISTE, BAI, IGS, IEEE which helps to build our knowledge in the respective fields

Admission is through keam examination and i got a rank of 6389.There will be 4 allotment in which 1st will be trial ,In second allotment itself i got in gect.The admission process is in offline mode in which we need to submit all our documents and the PTA fund.The difficulty of exam is moderate and can easily crack if you study well.The exam will be mostly in the month of june
