Course Curriculum Overview

I didnt choose the course as such I was allotted with this course we had to give our choices of which course we have to choose and we will alloted with the course on behalf of the score of the entrance examination. I am happy with my course it helps me with better understanding of the financial part of the world

Placement Experience

Placements are very average of my college. I am not looking for college campus as such I am thinking of doing my masters in business administration after my bcom students can do mcom too. Around 30-40% or the students get placement in our college

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course in my college is about 16000rs as it a government college subsidies are provided and students with ECA certificate get concession on the fees. The college provide with other financial assistance as well for selected students. The campus employment opportunities are average

Campus Life

My college life is going good, made some friends, lost some.. I have joined enactus pgdav eve, nss and movie appreciation society, all the 3 societies are doing good work on their behalf, the library is great the books are easily accessible offline and online, the sports of our college is out standing some of the national cricket team players have been from our college.

Admission

Cuet entrance examination with 12th class subjects and general test cut off for my college was around 650 marks out of 800. The admission process was fine no flaws as such. Could have done better on the infrastructure of the test centers

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.

Placement Experience:

Well I was very clear to go for MBA after completing the program so placement was never a big deal for me but there are few companies which come every year at the last sem for placements and 10-20% get good placement.

PGDAV is best in terms of facilities

Students often choose PGDAV College because of its affordable fees structure and as it is affiliated with University of Delhi. It also offers various undergraduate courses like bcom hons, BA, etc. It is located in south Delhi and has decent connectivity via public transportation. The cut offs are slightly lower than other colleges of north campus. Like most Colleges of DU, admission here is on the basis of merit but now according to New Education Policy it is based on Cuet scores. Du releases cut of list in several rounds, students who meet the criteria can apply for admission. After selecting the college students need to verify their documents by the college.
