Course Curriculum Overview
My course was computer science which was having a verity of diverse options, we were having various subjects in each year, In which we use to learn new skills and knowledge about different operating system and database management, analytical and communication skills, artificial inteligiance and machine learning manymore.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fee of the college during my time was 95k which was from management kota, if talk about government kota, it would cost from 50k-75k according to the KCET rank. Excluding examination fee and books plus leaving expence. College was having the hostel though but i was a dayscholor, so don't have any idea about the hostel fees. There was the National State Scholorship(NSP) provided by the government for the degree pursuers, it would range from 20k-25k.Furthermore the loan was also an option known as KMDC loan for the government kota students. College provides placements for the final year students and stipend internship programs also.
Campus Life
Our college helds various programs and fests in which one of the best will be Ebuzz program. Every sport competitions will be held and the winner will be declared and get rewarded.In every six months there would be a program.We use to have a big library and veriety of options in the books, library card was necessary to get access to the library's books.College was having big classes which could hold the stength of eighty students and white&green boards.
Admission
Talking about the admission process in the college, there was the entrance exam know as KCET necessary for both government and management seat, So the was cutoff for each engineering branch each would have different values. Cutoff for computer science was rank below the sixty thousand to get a government seat. Application form will be provided at the admission department and guide you how to fill it. It cost of thousand rupees and the time of one month to submit it with all the documents.Reservation were having benefits like low tution fee and loan option compare to management kota. Each year was having two semister, totally eight semisters throughtout the course.Improvement is necessary in fees coz it is too high now considering from last two years so the fees should be reduce to normal again.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio was 1:8 and the coordination between student and professor was very smooth and clearifying, some of them were strict about there rules but were very supporting. They use to work on there teaching mistakes and if any doubt ask they were ready to clear at anytime. once in a week or at any department activity we use to interact with our mentors and once in a month with the coordinator. There were two coordinator for each and every class and three to four mentors according to the strength of the class.
