Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

As AI is on boost it changed my mind to the industries where it had a little effect, that's why I choose Metallurgical and Materials engineering. The faculty is awesome, all are well-educated with the degree of PhD. Their methods of teaching are excellent and they are very supportive and don't grimace in solving our doubts. There are 2 term exams namely mid-semester and end-semester, difficulty level is a little high with strict marking as a cherry on top. Fees are around 1100000 per semester for the General Category and there are many scholarship programs for the needful.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Our college offers good internship opportunities to students. Many different companies visit to offer internships to students. Mostly they offer roles of junior developers. Students are given projects on artificial intelligence and machine learning. FAANG also visits our campus for hiring.

Placement Experience

4

So far are very good placements and job opportunities for Students after the seventh Semester. The eligibility criteria for placements are 7.5 CGPA maintained until the 7th semester. The highest package offered on campus was 85 LPA and in campus offered was 65 LPA and the average package was 28. LPA. 100 % Of students set in placements get placed into good companies with decent packages.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the complete course is 800000. There is no hike policy as such. There is MCM policy for the needy ones also The college does not provide any specific scholarships to students, except those whose family earnings are less than five lakh.

Campus Life

5

The cultural fest named Zeitgeist Is held in November, where students from different colleges, participate in many different cultural activities. Technical fest is also held in February which is very interesting too. Almost all sports equipment is provided by the college to the students. Extracurricular activities are held daily. There are many different clubs, that work for the welfare of society, and for the development of students too. Mess food is decent and hostels are very affordable. There is no such provision for rented rumour PGR college students are forced to live in Hostels.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The rooms are quite clean and modern, and they have electricity and WiFi available around-the-clock. Cons: The hostel's lack of air conditioning makes summertime living extremely difficult. Additionally, there is bad city connectivity.

Admission

I was given a written test named JEE advanced to enter college and participated in the counseling named JOSAA. Cut-off varies every year. The JEE MAIN application form cost approx 850/- for General candidates and and for JEE Advanced application form cost approx 1600/-

Faculty

4

About one-fourth of the students are faculty members. In addition to teacher assistants, professors are a great resource for students. To instruct, the faculty members use Power Point presentations or Required video lectures. Every day, the professor and students connect because the teachers have assigned apartments on campus.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
