Management can bring in some flexibility in Evening College timings. The Evening College operates from 2:15 pm to 7:30 pm. This can be considerably reduced.

Course Curriculum has an amendment last year. There were few updations in subjects. New Subjects like Corporate Governance, Securities Analysis & Portfolio Management were added to ensure that students flourish in today’s tough market. Exams are conducted at end of every Semester (i.e after every 90 working days) & apart from this Mid-Semester exams are conducted at after completion of 50 working days.

Placements were good for the past few years. There is also encouragement from the college to do Internships. Companies like Deloitte, E&Y have been actively recruiting talented graduates every year.

Workshop for Body language development, Carrer enhancement had been conducted in a timely manner to ensure that student is groomed well to survive in the corporate world. Apart from these workshops, the college conducts Blood donation camp every year in memory of the great monk Swami Vivekananda.

Fees per academic year are around ? 27000 (approximately). Apart from this, the students must pay? 800 per semester as their exam fees. In case of Morning college which is supported by the Govt of Tamilnadu, the semester fees are around ? 750 which is refundable in the case in the student’s parent earn low income (income certificate must be attached thereto in order to avail this benefit).

I have not availed any loan as of now. The College from their side provides Scholarship to the deserving ones which are purely based on Merit basis.

Clean Campus with a well maintained Cricket ground. This is a college exclusively for men. Apart from Curricular activities, our college encourages Cricket, Chess, Carrom, Kabbadi, Football & Fine Arts like Music & Dance. The College also has a Recreation club like Rotaract which conducts events every month.

Alumni’s has a happy ending on their third year. Most of the alumni in my circle are employed in great & reputed institutions.

The admission process was commenced from the next day of Class 12 results being announced. Students were selected on a merit basis (Students with more than 90% cutoff were given first preference). Students were called for an Interview along with their parents. Few Basics were tested & on the satisfaction of the Principal the students where selected.

Faculties come from different backgrounds & colleges. I have found many of them hold a Doctorate in their respective subjects. The only thing that acts as a barrier is the delivery of the subject which still more requires improvement. Some faculties are really good in terms of sharing their experience & educating the students about the current market.
